One of the methods includes detecting, in a text stream and using column identification data, text for one or more cells in a table; creating, using the text for at least some of the one or more cells in the table, a data structure for the cell a) that associates two or more values from the table and b) for use by a downstream system as part of a natural language analysis process of data from the text stream; and storing, in memory, the data structure.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for detecting image document text data. One of the methods includes determining, for an image document that depicts text, whether the image document includes a digital overlay; in response to determining that the image document includes a digital overlay, determining whether the digital overlay comprises text data for the text depicted in the image document, metadata that is a different type of data than the text data, or both; and in response to determining that the digital overlay comprises at least text data: determining to skip optical character recognition of the image document; and providing, to a downstream system, a message that indicates that the image document has text data.

Abstract: A text messaging electronic device and a text messaging server for registering context, and a method for operating the same are provided. The text messaging electronic device includes at least one processor, a display coupled to the processor, a text input interface coupled to the processor, a network interface coupled to the processor, and a storage storing computer-readable instructions for causing the at least one processor to execute a text messaging application, the text messaging application having a message display interface, a message creation interface that presents text entered via the text input interface, and at least one context selector control enabling at least one context to be associated with the text being entered in the message creation interface, the message display interface presenting received text messages and any context identifiers for any contexts associated with the received text messages received from other text messaging systems via the network interface.
