  • Publication number: 20260078727
Abstract: A power machine can include a frame, an engine supported by the frame, and an air intake system that directs intake air to the engine. The air intake system can include a filter assembly that includes a filter housing and a filter element positioned in the filter housing to filter contaminants from the intake air. A pressure source can be arranged to pressurize filtered air from the filter assembly and provide the pressurized filtered air to an intake of the engine. The air intake system can further include an ejector arranged to receive a portion of the pressurized filtered air and induce a suction flow at the filter housing to eject contaminants from the air intake system.

  • Patent number: 12247537
Abstract: The present disclosure provides an air intake system for a power machine that can use a hollow section of a frame of the power machine to form part of an air intake path. The air intake system can include an air inlet coupled to an exterior panel of the power machine, a filter assembly including a filter enclosure and a filter element, a first air conduit coupled between the inlet and an enclosed compartment of a frame of the power machine, and a second air conduit coupled between the enclosed compartment and the filter enclosure. To reach the filter enclosure, the air entering the filter enclosure can travel along an air intake path that includes the air inlet, the first air conduit, the enclosed compartment, and the second air conduit.

  • Patent number: 11644093
Abstract: A cover for a transmission having improved airflow path is disclosed. The interior of the cover has a progressively narrowing airflow path to reduce pressure drop through the cover, thereby improving the cooling efficiency of the airflow through the cover. The cover includes a diverter sheltering the air inlet to the cover to prevent air in the cover from exerting outward pressure on the incoming air.
