  • Publication number: 20240155007
Abstract: A method and system for detecting malicious threat activity or event sequences is disclosed. In an embodiment, the method may include receiving security data from a plurality of data sources and normalizing the security data. The method may include generating one or more statistical profiles for one or more entities based on the normalized data. The method may include generating one or more detectors based on one or more subsequences organized in a plurality of threat chains. The method may include monitoring, via the one or more detectors, telemetric data in real time for the one or more subsequences. The method may include aggregating each detected one or more subsequences. The method may include generating a score based on a correlation of aggregated detected subsequences to the one or more statistical profiles. The method may include, if the score of exceeds a threshold, generating a high severity alert.

  • Publication number: 20240141427
Abstract: Presented herein are altered polymerase enzymes for improved incorporation of nucleotides and nucleotide analogues, in particular altered polymerases that maintain low error rate, low phasing rate, or increased incorporation rate for a second generation ffN under reduced incorporation times, as well as methods and kits using the same.

  • Patent number: 11950784
Abstract: Described here are devices for closing one or more tissues, and handles for controlling these devices. Generally, the devices described here comprise a snare loop assembly, wherein the snare loop assembly comprises a snare and a suture loop, and a handle for controlling the snare loop assembly. In some variations the snare loop assembly may comprise a retention member that may releasably connect the suture loop to the snare. In other variations the devices comprise one or more force-reducing suture locks to help prevent the suture loop from inadvertently disengaging from the snare loop assembly. In still other variations, the excess-suture management features. The handles described here may be configured to remove excess suture from a suture loop, and may also be configured to release the suture loop from the snare loop assembly.

  • Publication number: 20240074731
Abstract: An intraluminal imaging device that provides both flexibility and pushability is disclosed. The device includes a flexible elongate member configured to be positioned within a body lumen of a patient, and an imaging assembly disposed at the distal portion of the flexible elongate member and configured to obtain intraluminal image data. The distal portion of the flexible elongate member includes a region, proximal to the imaging assembly, that is less hard and/or more flexible than the proximal portion of the flexible elongate member. The more flexible region includes an inner member, an adhesive surrounding the inner member, a communication line embedded within the adhesive and configured to carry signals associated with the imaging assembly, and an outer polymer layer surrounding the adhesive.

  • Patent number: 11915444
Abstract: Methods and systems for image analysis are provided, and in particular for identifying a set of base-calling locations in a flow cell for DNA sequencing. These include capturing flow cell images after each sequencing step performed on the flow cell, and identifying candidate cluster centers in at least one of the flow cell images. Intensities are determined for each candidate cluster center in a set of flow cell images. Purities are determined for each candidate cluster center based on the intensities. Each candidate cluster center with a purity greater than the purity of the surrounding candidate cluster centers within a distance threshold is added to a template set of base-calling locations.

  • Publication number: 20070253552
Abstract: Information, such as audio visual information, is secured by self-decay of the information over time. For instance, a date stamp and decay rate embedded in an encrypted audio or visual digital media file can be applied to decrypt the file to a predetermined decayed state, such as a degraded playback quality. One or more keys can be included with the information to allow undecayed decryption but expire after use or a predetermined time period. In one embodiment, the decayed state can comprise gaps formed at intervals in the information, the gaps having increased length for decreased quality. In an alternative embodiment, the decayed state can be a reduced sample rate for a compressed digital media file.
