Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for incentivizing the sharing of a mobile application, comprising providing, on a user interface of a mobile application executed on a first mobile electronic device of a first user, an offer for a promotion, which promotion is accessible by the first user when the first user elects to share the mobile application with at least one second user having a second mobile electronic device. Next, a request from the first user to share the mobile application with the second user is received, and an electronic communication is directed from the first mobile electronic device to the second user, which electronic communication has an electronic link that enables the second user to download a copy of the mobile application onto the second mobile electronic device. Next, the first user is provided with the promotion.
