Abstract: Hand table device for surgeons including a rectangular, rigid platform having elevated edges running along each long side thereof. The elevated edges allow the surgeon and assistant to rest their arms/wrists to prevent fatigue of their arms and shoulders while also providing a solid foundation for the surgeon's arms/wrists during a delicate procedure. The edges further prevent instruments and fluids from exiting the surgery area. The rigid platform may include magnets which, along with secondary metallic articles, permit instruments, medical devices and a patient's body part to be secured or immobilized as needed. The hand table device may be disposable for one-time use only.

Abstract: A system includes a portable video camera; a head-worn apparatus; a mount for attaching the portable video camera to the head-worn apparatus, centering the lens of said action camera in the center of the wearer's field of vision; the mount permitting the portable video camera to rotate at least upward and downward; an attachable component to stop audio recording of said camera; a remote battery for powering the portable video camera; a remote video recorder connected wirelessly to the video camera via video transmitter and receiver pair; a remote monitor connected to the portable video camera wirelessly or via wire, and said remote monitor configured to output a live image being captured by the portable video camera. The head-worn apparatus may be a surgical head mount, arthroplasty helmet, surgical light headgear, hood, etc.

Abstract: A system for mounting a video camera to surgical head wear. The system may include a camera mount formed of a camera retention member, linkage and means for attachment to surgical head wear. A video storage unit may be mounted to the head wear proximate to the video camera and connected thereto. The system described herein permits surgeons to capture video of surgical procedures. The video may be stored for later dissemination and/or observed remotely in real-time. A video boom system may be used as well.
