  • Publication number: 20180066882
Abstract: A portable cooler includes a cooler body formed of an insulating shell defining an interior storage section, a lid mating surface formed at a first angle relative to a bottom surface of the cooler body, and a cooler lid coupled to the cooler body by a hinge. The cooler lid includes a body mating surface formed at a second angle that is a supplementary angle to the first angle so that a first surface of the cooler lid extends generally horizontally from the cooler body when the lid is fully opened. Some embodiments may include two lids, each of which opening in opposite direction. An internal reinforcement within the cooler body allows the cooler to resist deflection in the lid contact region when the lid is opened and in contact with the cooler body.

  • Publication number: 20150176884
Abstract: A portable cooler includes a cooler body formed of an insulating shell defining an interior storage section, and an integrated accessory storage unit affixed to the cooler body. The accessory storage unit includes a positionable lid covering a second storage section that is separate from and external to the interior storage section of the cooler body. The accessory storage unit, when mounted on the front of the cooler, includes an undercut that can be used as part of a tie-down system. The tie-down system includes a tie-down cord and at least one tie-down cord retainer. In operation the tie-down cord is passed through the retainer and looped under the undercut to keep it in place. Then the tie-down may be tightened to keep gear in place.

  • Publication number: 20150114977
Abstract: A portable cooler includes a generally horizontal bottom surface and a generally vertical rear surface, a handle coupled to the cooler body, and a sliding surface that is neither horizontal nor vertical coupled between the bottom surface and to the rear surface. In some embodiments the sliding surface may be an angled planer surface, or may be curved. A foot platform provides leverage for tilting the portable cooler rearward when a foot of a user is placed on the foot platform and rearward pressure is applied to the handle. The portable cooler may include wheels that each have a width of approximately 10% of a width of the cooler body. At least one of the wheels may include a groove and a material within the groove that is softer that the durable material of the at least one wheel.

  • Publication number: 20150115894
Abstract: A portable cooler includes a cooler body formed of an insulating shell defining an interior storage section, a rechargeable battery, and a charging port coupled to the rechargeable battery to guide energy from the rechargeable battery to an external electrical device coupled to the port. The port may be, for example, a USB port or other port. The port may be protected from water infiltration. In some aspects the charging port is a universal port and various specific ports may be included as port attachments. The port attachments allow for a variety of devices to be coupled to the charging port. In some aspects the rechargeable battery may be a high-voltage battery coupled to the charging port through a voltage limiter.

  • Publication number: 20150114028
Abstract: A portable cooler includes a cooler body formed of an insulating shell having an external shell and an internal shell. The internal shell defines an interior storage section. A divider retention slot is formed into the internal shell and is structured to accept and mechanically support a rigid divider. A liquid collection cup is formed within internal shell and coupled to the divider retention slot. The retention guides liquid that accumulates within the slot toward the liquid collection cup by sloping toward the cup. In some aspects the slots of the retention guide are approximately 0.25 inches deep within the internal shell. A drain hole may drain the cup, the drain hole for the cup at least 0.75 inches in diameter. Two divider retention slots may be present to further allow subdivision within the interior storage section of the cooler.

  • Publication number: 20100024740
Abstract: A pet entertainment device that is also capable of exercising a pet, such as a cat, via user interaction with the device using a remote control that enables user control of motion of a pet plaything/attractant in or along two degrees of freedom. The device includes a base that rests on a floor that carries a housing rotatable relative thereto enabling corresponding plaything/attractant movement in response to a first user manipulable control of the remote. The housing includes a plaything/attractant carrier, such as a wand, that is movable relative to the housing, the base, and the floor in response to a second user manipulable control of the remote. The device includes a housing rotation drive and a wand drive connected to an electrical power supply and onboard controller that receives wireless control signals from the user-manipulable remote control and carries out user-initiated movement commands inputted into the remote.

Abstract: A combination stapler and tape dispenser device is disclosed that may be oriented on a desk either vertically or horizontally. The inventive device includes a tape dispenser, a functioning stapler, and a body housing both. The housing body is shaped to contain the stapler at a posterior end and the tape dispenser on the opposite anterior end such that the device may be stored and used in a traditional horizontal position, as well as stored vertically to save space. The housing includes both a top and bottom handle that are pivotably joined by a hinge shaft. The stapler comprises all of the functional parts typically found in an office stapler including, but not limited to, a stapler arm, a staple housing, staples, a staple driving mechanism, an anvil designed to close each staple, a hinge shaft for pivotably joining the stapler housing with the top handle, a device to advance the staples, and a spring or similar device to maintain position of stapler arm.
