    Abstract: A networking system may include a first network such as a private cloud network and a second network such as a public cloud network. The first network may include a switch coupled to a computing resource. To facilitate a robust and flexible inter-network connection, the networking system may include network connector circuitry having a connector endpoint at the first network and a network connector coupling the connector endpoint to a network element at the second network. A controller for the first network may provide control signals and configuration data to the network connector circuitry to form the connection to the second network and may configure the switch to forward external network traffic to and from the connector endpoint via a switch port directly coupled to the connector endpoint.

    Abstract: A packet forwarding network may include switches that forward network packets between end hosts. A monitoring network may be coupled to the forwarding network. A controller may control switches in the monitoring network to forward network packets tapped from the forwarding network to one or more packet recorders. The packet recorders may store the tapped packets and the controller may query the stored packets at a later time. The controller may analyze queried packets to monitor the operation of the packet forwarding network and, if desired, to display graphical visualizations associated with the packet forwarding network. If desired, the controller may instruct the packet recorders to replay the tapped packets to network visibility tools through the monitoring network. The controller may coordinate storage and query operations across multiple packet recorders using the monitoring network so that the packet storage capacity and recording rate may be scaled up over time.

    Abstract: A method of treating livestock with a vaccine includes mixing a reducing agent, such as sodium thiosulfate, with water, which may include oxidizing water sanitizers, mixing the vaccine with the water after the reducing agent has neutralized the water sanitizers, and treating the livestock with the vaccine and water mixture. The method may include adding a buffer to the water along with the reducing agent to adjust the pH, and adding a coloring agent to the water to aid in identifying livestock that has been treated with the vaccine. The vaccine may be administered to the livestock in different ways, such as by including it in drinking water or by spraying the livestock with the vaccine and water mixture.
