Patent number: 10633884Abstract: An enclosure that includes a deployable expansion structure for added space. The enclosure comprises a cover that includes a panel, a plurality of wall supports that connect to the panel, with each of the plurality of wall supports having a first end that connects to a portion of panel, an expansion support having a first end and a second end, wherein the first end of the expansion support connects to a portion of the cover, and a hub that connects to a second end of each of the plurality of wall supports and the second end of the expansion support. The expansion support pivots from a first position to a second position with respect to the hub to deploy the expansion structure to form a cavity with additional space.Type: GrantFiled: November 30, 2017Date of Patent: April 28, 2020Assignee: Plano Molding CompanyInventors: Jay Robert, Ryan J. Patent number: 7150442Abstract: An ice shelter modular seating system includes a base unit, one or more seat mount units and one or more seat leg units. The base unit is a generally rectangular tub-like member having a front wall and a floor. The floor includes a longitudinally extending and integrally formed track. This track is functionally adapted to receive the lowermost portion of the seat leg units in it, the track being used to restrain the seat leg units from front to back movement relative to the base unit front wall. A seat mount unit is removably attachable to the base unit front wall and is configured to rest upon the seat leg unit. In this fashion, seat mount units can be positioned along the base unit as desired or required in an almost infinite number of positions and combination of positions, with placement of the seat mount units being be made quickly and easily.Type: GrantFiled: March 26, 2004Date of Patent: December 19, 2006Assignee: Frabill, Inc.Inventor: Ryan J. Patent number: 7124533Abstract: An automatic locking landing net yoke includes a channeled ramp feature such that, when the handle is drawn through the yoke and the yoke slides over a spring button, the ramp forces or cams the button downwardly and into the handle. Toward the lowermost portion of the ramp is a hole such that, as the hole in the yoke slides over the spring button, the force of the button extends it upwardly through the hole. The spring button is never pushed completely into the handle because the backside of the yoke hole prevents the yoke from being extended to the point that the yoke slides off the handle. The yoke is also configured such that the yoke allows use with hoop and handle shapes of various configurations and is molded of a material that does not create any oxidation or corrosion between the handle and yoke, thus providing smooth operation between the two elements.Type: GrantFiled: April 5, 2005Date of Patent: October 24, 2006Assignee: Frabill, Inc.Inventor: Ryan J. Patent number: 6726432Abstract: A vehicle restraint includes a restraining member that rises to an operative position and lowers to a stored position to respectively engage and release an ICC bar of a truck parked at a loading dock. In moving to the lowered stored position, the restraining member also rotates off to its side, so as not to obstruct snow removal equipment or incoming vehicles having an especially low ICC bar or low ground clearance. In some embodiments, rotation of the restraining member is achieved by various actuators that apply a generally uniform torque. A resilient member, moves the restraining member upward to engage the ICC bar, and allows for vertical movement of the truck as it is being loaded or unloaded. Opposing the upward urging of the resilient member, a drive unit forcibly moves the restraining member downward when the truck is ready to be released.Type: GrantFiled: September 13, 2001Date of Patent: April 27, 2004Assignee: Rite-Hite Holding CorporationInventors: John Kish, Timothy C. Cotton, Ryan J. Kleckner, Kurt Lessard
