  • Patent number: 10579354
Abstract: A computing system environment executes platform-independent instructions to combine object data of a plurality of objects into a platform-independent object. Such objects of the plurality of objects may, for example, include form, entity and schema objects. Platform-dependent instructions comprising a set of one or more platform-specific instructions to display and operate on the platform-independent object are executed on a specific platform type associated with the platform-dependent instructions. By decoupling the hardcoded functionality from easily created and edited object portions of the application design, rapid deployment and execution of customized functionality across multiple distinct platforms is thereby enabled.

  • Patent number: 9226766
Abstract: An apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus includes a circuit configured to transmit a signal as a serial protocol over a pair of electrical conductors. The serial protocol is defined as a series of pulses distributed over at least one transmission frame. At least one pulse in the transmission frame is simultaneously encoded by modulating an amplitude of the pulse to represent one of two first logic states and modulating a width of the pulse to represent one of two second logic states. An instrument and a generator also are disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20130234520
Abstract: A modular energy harvesting portal including a housing with a bay, a plurality of inverters, a controller, and an AC bus. A first inverter has a first DC input, a first AC output, and a first power rating. The first inverter converts DC power to AC power and outputs the AC power to an AC bus. A second inverter has a second DC input, a second AC output, and a second power rating. The second inverter converts DC power to AC power and outputs the AC power to the AC bus. The inverters are positioned in the bay. The controller selectively controls a switch to couple the AC bus to an AC grid. The modular energy harvesting portal system has a power rating dependent on the number of inverters and the power rating of each of the inverters.
