  • Publication number: 20230082680
Abstract: The present specification describes a computer-implemented method. According to the method, a request is received to execute a computing task. The request includes parameters for the computing task. A processor identifies, based on the parameters for the computing task and from a pool of registered nodes, a set of assigned nodes amongst which the computing task is to be distributed. A computing assignment of the computing task is transmitted to a secure and isolated container on each of the assigned nodes. A completed computing assignment is received from each of the assigned nodes and the completed computing task is assembled and distributed to a requesting device.

  • Patent number: 10158650
Abstract: A method of verifying an unverified token received may include accessing an external data store to receive data vectors that may be associated with a user of the client device; filtering data vectors that are not input data vectors; grouping data vectors into first groups based on a text field in each of the data vectors; selecting second groups from the first groups where each of the second groups include data vectors with a similar value field; selecting third groups from the second groups where each of the third groups includes data vectors with a similar input interval; for each of the third groups, determining a group value based on the value fields and input intervals; calculating an estimated token based on the group values for each of the third groups; and determining whether the unverified token can be verified by the estimated token.

  • Patent number: 8630838
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present invention provide systems and methods for providing a translation for a set of one or more terms or phrases related to a software application using decentralized contributions. In particular, various embodiments provide systems and methods by which multiple users of the application contribute translations for individual terms or phrases of the application instead of having one entity supply the translation of the software application. Specifically, the process of various embodiments: (1) provides a repository for storing translations of the individual terms or phrases in a target language (e.g., a language for which a translation is needed); (2) collects the translations provided by users and stores the translations in the repository; (3) identifies the preferred translation for each individual term or phrase; and (4) displays the preferred translation to the user in response to receiving a user's request for a preferred translation in the target language.

  • Publication number: 20110213707
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention may provide systems and methods for facilitating person-to-person payments. A payer request to pay a payee identified by a first contact identifier is received. Upon failing to locate the payee in a data repository of registered payees via the first contact identifier, the first contact identifier is utilized to transmit a registration invitation to the payee. Information associated with the request may be stored pending registration by the payee, and the invitation may include a link to a payment service provider site and an indicator of the stored information. Based upon a payee selection of the link, the indicator and identifying information for the payee other than the first contact identifier is received. The received identifying information is utilized to determine a pre-existing registration of the payee with the payment service provider, and the stored information is utilized to direct a payment to the payee.
