  • Publication number: 20150172266
Abstract: A social networking system user identifies one or more social networking system users authorized to present content items to the user via the social networking system (“authorized users”). When an additional user requests presentation of a content item to the user, the social networking system determines if the additional user is an authorized user. If the additional user is an authorized user, the content item is presented to the user. However, if the additional user is not an authorized user, the social networking system identifies the additional user to the user along with a request to identify the additional user as an authorized user. If the user identifies the additional user as an authorized user in response to the request, the content item is presented to the user.

  • Publication number: 20150172334
Abstract: A social networking system identifies one or more additional users to be presented with a content item to a user presenting the content item (“sending user”). Information maintained by the social networking system and describing prior interaction between the sending user and various additional users is retrieved. Based on the prior interaction between the sending user and the additional users, one or more additional users are identified to the sending user as potential recipients for the content item. For example, a frequency of interaction between the user and additional users, affinity between the user and various additional users, or other suitable information is used to identify potential recipients of the content item.

  • Publication number: 20140230927
Abstract: A backflow prevention assembly for global use with dispensers requiring a variety of backflow prevention devices based on regulatory standards is provided. The assembly includes a housing comprising first and second housing members and including quick connector attachments extending therefrom. The quick connector attachments are non-threaded members configured to be attached to the various measurement and types of connections found throughout the world. A cover is provided for venting purposes to reduce the backflow siphoning forces or pressure, which causes the backflow of a product chemistry. Furthermore, a backflow prevention device is configured to be fluidly coupled to the housing of the present invention to provide for one way flow and the prevention of backflow of a product chemistry into a water supply. The flow control may be selected based on the regulatory standards of the location used.

  • Publication number: 20140233346
Abstract: A method and apparatus for obtaining a product chemistry from a product and a fluid is provided. A product is housed within a dispenser. A fluid is introduced through a manifold diffuse member having a plurality of ports. A cover is positioned adjacent the manifold diffuse member and includes a plurality of ports. The cover is able to be adjusted, for example, by rotating the cover, to align and un-align the manifold diffuse ports and the cover ports. This adjustment controls the flow characteristics of the fluid through the manifold diffuse member and cover to control the characteristics of the fluid in contact with the product. The adjustment of the cover to control the flow will provide a generally consistent concentration and erosion rate based upon known relationships between a characteristic of the fluid and the flow of the fluid in relation to the product.

  • Publication number: 20140158709
Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and systems for dispensing an off-gassing liquid product mixed with a diluting product are provided. A liquid product or product solution is moved through a primed product line and towards a dispenser. The liquid product is combined with the diluting product to create a solution. The solution is dispensed. The product line is cleared of unused or displaced liquid product by redirecting at least a portion of the unused or displaced liquid product in the product line to a displacement system operatively attached to the product line. The displacement system includes a check valve including a crack pressure that allows the unused or displaced product to be dispensed back into the product source or a separate, secondary container.

  • Publication number: 20140158716
Abstract: Methods, apparatuses, and systems for dispensing an off-gassing liquid product mixed with a diluting product are provided. A liquid product or product solution is moved through an unprimed product line and towards a dispenser. The liquid product is combined with the diluting product to create a solution. The solution is dispensed. The product line is cleared of unused liquid product to unprime the product line after the dispensement of the solution. The unused product may be directed back into a product container from which it was held.

  • Publication number: 20120048307
Abstract: A method and system provides for dispensing incompatible products. Separate aspirator assemblies (12A and 12B) are connected in fluid communication with a single liquid diluent source (54). A first set of liquid products (48A-51A) are drawn through aspirator assembly (12A) and a second set of liquid products (48B-51B) having a product incompatible with the first set are drawn through another aspirator assembly (12B). Incompatible liquid products are thereby dispensed independent of and in separation from one another to an appliance for use.

  • Publication number: 20100299761
Abstract: The invention includes delivering and monitoring electronic letters to correction facility inmates while giving supervisory authorities the ability to screen the incoming mail. This may be achieved by providing a database having an entry for each inmate and having a plurality of fields, and by scanning an original letter as an electronic letter and storing each electronic letter sent to a specific inmate in a relational database management system (RDMS) table. Another aspect of the invention involves providing a computer-operated kiosk that may be used by individuals (e.g., inmates) in a restrained environment/restricted-access location (e.g., a prison) to browse through a catalog of available digital media or content, such as music, that may be purchase with credits earned based on work performed by the inmate or bought through some other means, for example by family members of the inmate.

  • Patent number: 6364424
Abstract: A portable wheel assembly for use with bicycles and other wheeled vehicles. The wheel assembly comprises a centrally positioned hub which is adapted for rotatable movement about an axis. A plurality of pie shaped disk segments are coupled together along their radial side edges to form a circular support disk with a central opening. Each disk segment is adapted to removably couple with the hub at its innermost radial edge and extends radially outwardly to form a portion of a circular rim at its outermost radial edge. The rim is adapted for supporting a tire. The tire comprises a non-pneumatic tire with an annular ridge which is adapted to couple with the circular rim formed by the disk. During assembly, each of the pie shaped disk segments is coupled together and then coupled to the hub assembly at the inside radial edge or central opening. As the disk segments are coupled to the hub, the tire is assembled onto the outer radial edge or rim.
