Abstract: A device for catching insects is provided which includes an elongated member with first and second distal portions, an insect trapping head mounted on the first distal portion, and an actuating mechanism. The insect trapping head includes a first member and a second member pivotally mounted with respect to each other such that one of the members is moveable from about 0 to about 340 degrees relative to the other member, and preferably to about 270 degrees relative to the other member by activation of the actuating mechanism. When in the closed position, the first and second members define a rigid compartment such that the insect can be trapped between the first and second members. Preferably, a sticky surface on at least a portion of the interior of the compartment maintains the insects within the compartment.

Examples of supply items include monochromatic and multi-color print ribbons, webs that carry laminate patches, cleaning tape, and other web materials that are used up during use of the equipment. Data bearing identification or financial document production equipment include thermal printers, laminators and combinations thereof, and other equipment that utilize supply items.

Abstract: A pet door hinge adapted to accommodate potentially damaging forces. The hinge mechanism includes a shaft that is received by a shock-absorbing bearing. The bearing is received by a sleeve. The bearing rotates within the sleeve to allow pivoting of the flap. In the event of potentially damaging forces, a resilient and deformable material forming the core of the bearing gives to prevent damage to or destruction of the hinge mechanism or the pet door.

Abstract: Described is a pet door for providing ingress or egress, for a pet, through a structural member, such as a wall or door. The pet door also offers a weather-resisting feature that prevents the integration of the exterior environment and the interior environment. Because the weather-resisting feature includes a flap that presents potential to entangle a pet, the pet door provides a snap fastener oriented release mechanism for the potentially injurious flap.

A substrate (40) is provided having a rear surface (45) and an opening (55) therethrough. Lastly, the sheet (12) is attached to the rear surface (45) of the substrate (40) so that the characterizing topography (15) extends through the opening (55). Alternatively, the sheet (12) may comprise at least one tab (17) and the substrate (40) may comprise at least one tab opening (57) wherein the tab (17) is inserted into the tab opening (57) to snap-fit the pieces together.
