  • Patent number: 11441797
Abstract: Embodiments of the current disclosure include air pretreatment devices suitable for pretreatment of air received by air handler units. The air pretreatment devices can include an air intake configured to capture the outside air. A cooling coil system can process changes in the dry bulb and dew point temperatures of the captured outside air. The pretreated air can then be passed via an air outtake to the air handler. The cooling coil system can be coupled to at least a chilled water intake and a chilled water return line. Finally, a single water valve control unit located on either the chilled water intake or chilled water return line can be adjusted to direct a change in the dry bulb temperature and dew point temperature within the cooling coil system.

  • Publication number: 20150251962
Abstract: A granulated fertilizer having a primary nutrient and a micronutrient and related methods of making. The micronutrient is incorporated into the fertilizer mixture by dissolving a compound form of the micronutrient into a feed stream for the formulation of the fertilizer material, a water return stream for the scrubbing of waste gas, and/or a feed stream for back titration of the fertilizer material.

  • Patent number: 7277012
Abstract: A motion sensing system device and method which utilize dispersed ultrasonic radiation is disclosed. The system preferably comprises a low profile sensor unit configured to couple to a ceiling position. The sensor unit comprises an ultrasonic transmitter and an ultrasonic receiver and a pair of acoustic reflectors positioned in a transmitting path of the ultrasonic transmitter and a receiving path of the ultrasonic receiver for generating and detecting the ultrasonic radiation in a broadcast field. The acoustic reflectors preferably comprise cones, conical cross-sections and/or combinations thereof which are integral with the ultrasonic transmitter and the ultrasonic receiver and/or are coupled to a housing structure for positioning the acoustic reflectors in the transmitting and/or receiving paths. The sensor unit also preferably comprises a circuit for driving the transmitter and for detecting motion by detecting changes in the receiver signal.

  • Patent number: 6415984
Abstract: Ceiling fan operation control for turning the fan on and off based on a passive infrared sensor, combined with a temperature sensor to regulate, the speed of the fan. The passive infrared sensor, the temperature sensor and controls for both are in a housing directly mounted to the fan motor of the ceiling fan. Me controls can be set screws covered by a removable cap. The passive if sensor can include a fresnal lens for sensing a 360 degree circumference beneath the fan, and a photo-optical sensor such as a photocell, which suspends ceiling fan control changes for allowing the fan to continue operation when the room is dark and occupants may be sleeping.
