The network computer system can store the updated workspace file in connection with an account associated with a user of the first user computing device. In a collaborative environment, the network computer system detects changes to an instance of a workspace on the computing devices of a given user in a group of collaborators. The network computer system then propagates the detected changes in real-time (or near real-time) to instances of the workspace file on computing devices of other users in the group of collaborators.
