  • Patent number: 12543016
Abstract: A system includes one or more processors, coupled with memory, of a vehicle. The system detects execution of a function of the vehicle. The system identifies, responsive to detection of the execution of the function, a location of the vehicle. The system determines that the location of the vehicle satisfies the geofence. The system can determine that the location satisfies the geofence responsive to execution of the function and based on a comparison of the location of the vehicle with a geofence stored in memory of the vehicle. The system performs an action corresponding to the execution of the function of the vehicle. The system can perform the action responsive to the determination that the location of the vehicle satisfies the geofence stored in memory of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 12498916
Abstract: An inactive vehicle mode is provided. A system can include a data processing system including one or more processors, coupled with memory. The system can identify a software update to install on a computing system in a vehicle remote from the data processing system. The system can determine that a network connection to the computing system used to provide software updates from the data processing system to the vehicle is inactive. The system can transmit, responsive to the identification of the software update for installation and the determination that the network connection to the computing system is inactive, to a mobile device associated with an identifier of the vehicle, a request to activate the network connection of the computing system to download the software update for installation on the computing system. The system can provide the software update to the computing system for installation.

  • Patent number: 12172602
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for controlling power modes of a vehicle and for providing passive entry to the vehicle. A sleep command can be sent from a central controller to multiple domain controllers to enter a sleep state. When the sleep command is received by a first domain controller, a sleep state is entered. When the sleep command is received by a second domain controller, a stealth state is entered. While in the stealth state, the second domain controller periodically wakes up from a sleep state to monitor a condition. In response to detecting a first condition, the second domain controller returns to the sleep state. In response to detecting a second condition, the second domain controller sends a notification of the second condition to the central controller.

Abstract: Function based geofencing is provided. A system includes one or more processors, coupled with memory, of a vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11867566
Abstract: A method of determining a temperature of a patient includes measuring a first temperature of the patient with a temperature device, and measuring a second temperature of an environment with the temperature device. The method includes determining if a change in the ambient temperature exceeds a threshold. If the change does exceed the threshold, the method also includes applying a correction factor to the first temperature of the patient to account for the change in ambient temperature.

  • Patent number: 11608028
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for controlling power modes of a vehicle and for providing passive entry to the vehicle. Responsive to a determination that a device is within a first distance from the vehicle, a wake-up action of the vehicle is initiated. The wake-up action includes a central controller transitioning one or more electronic control units (ECUs) or at least one program module from a first state to a second state. Responsive to a determination that the device is within a second distance from the vehicle, a welcome action of the vehicle is initiated. The welcome action includes the central controller causing the one or more ECUs or the at least one program module of the vehicle to execute an action associated with the vehicle.
