    Abstract: A robot system includes an articulated robot having a base near one end, a wrist flange near an opposite end, and a plurality of robot portions between the base and the wrist flange. A cutting tool is secured to the wrist flange and selectively moveable about at least one tool axis to change an angle of orientation of the cutting tool. A controller coordinates movement of the robot portions and at least one change in the angle of orientation of the cutting tool to move the cutting tool in an uninterrupted manner along a continuous cutting path to cut a slab of material while avoiding a singularity condition in which any two of the robot's axes are collinear.

The method includes monitoring a state of the robot and a state of an environment of the robot as the robot travels the global route. The method includes generating a local route of travel through a region of the environment that includes the robot, the region having a size and shape that are set based on a type of the robot and the state of the robot when the local route is generated. A measure of uncertainty in the perception of objects in the region is monitored based on the state of the environment. And the robot is caused to maintain the global route or transition to the local route based on a comparison of the measure of uncertainty and an uncertainty threshold.

    Abstract: A surface repair tool for repairing defects in surfaces includes a handle with an applicator blade extending from one end of the handle and a sanding device extending from the opposite end of the handle. The handle includes a receptacle into which is removably received a container of repair compound. The applicator blade includes an application surface and a flow passage that has an inlet and an orifice formed through the application surface. Squeezing the container causes repair compound in the container to flow through the flow passage of the applicator blade and out of the orifice where it is dispensed onto the applicator surface to be spread on a surface needing repair. Once the repair compound dries, the sanding device is used to sand the repair compound to a desire finish.

The eSIM management profile may send the list of preferred RSP platforms to a user device to configure the user device to use an eSIM profile provided by an RSP platform of the one or more RSP platforms. The user device may use the eSIM profile to obtain telecommunication services from the partner MNO while the user device is in a geographical area.
