  • Publication number: 20210143923
Abstract: A signal strength mapping solution that can detect, identify or log signal strength data for a plurality of locations and transmit a signal strength data signal to a remote communication device. The mobile communication device can be arranged to detect or determine, and log or store signal strength information, including signal strength as a function of time, geographic location and/or ambient conditions. The mobile communication device can be arranged to render a signal coverage map that includes a recommended location for optimal connectivity of the communication device in a geographic area.

  • Publication number: 20060081281
Abstract: A portable shelter is attachable to a receiver hitch of a vehicle. The portable shelter enables the user to use the base of the shelter as a cargo rack when the shelter is not being used as such. The cargo rack is used as the sub-base to the shelter. On top of the sub-base is a removable thermoformed plastic base having tent framing and one or more seats removably attached to it. Support legs are also provided at the sub-base. Each of the support legs is rotatable from the sub-base to ensure stability of the shelter and allow the shelter to stand by itself and without attachment to the vehicle. A framework is provided with telescoping members to allow the full frame of the shelter to be enclosed with a tent or other like covering, the covering intended to be a barrier against the elements.

  • Publication number: 20060026890
Abstract: An automatic locking landing net yoke includes a channeled ramp feature such that, when the handle is drawn through the yoke and the yoke slides over a spring button, the ramp forces or cams the button downwardly and into the handle. Toward the lowermost portion of the ramp is a hole such that, as the hole in the yoke slides over the spring button, the force of the button extends it upwardly through the hole. The spring button is never pushed completely into the handle because the backside of the yoke hole prevents the yoke from being extended to the point that the yoke slides off the handle. The yoke is also configured such that the yoke allows use with hoop and handle shapes of various configurations and is molded of a material that does not create any oxidation or corrosion between the handle and yoke, thus providing smooth operation between the two elements.
