    Abstract: In one embodiment of the present invention there is provided a toy airplane having a configured body. A leaf spring made of a layered flexible stainless steel bistable spring band is positioned below a pair of wings. Secured on either side of the body is a fuselage section that has a head portion and an elongated member extending from the head portion. The wings along with the leaf spring is configured to be bent and positioned into at least one configuration which because of the nature of the leaf spring are maintained in the at least one configuration until re-positioned.

    Abstract: A toy vehicle which may have the capability to raise and lower a spin mechanism within the vehicle to lift the vehicle up off of a surface and spin the vehicle in a top-like manner when the spin mechanism is charged. The vehicle may further include a chassis with a cavity to house the spin mechanism and a release mechanism to direct the spin mechanism to lower a spin shaft below wheels on the vehicle. Energy may be generated in a power drive system and transferred to the vehicle via a transfer gear in the spin mechanism. Another embodiment of the vehicle may also transforms between multiple configurations, including a spinning top, and utilizes a launch mechanism to spin the vehicle in a top-like manner. This embodiment may further include a sliding front segment, a sliding rear segment, two sliding side segments and a receiving cavity. When the sliding front segment and rear segment move toward one another, the two side segments are pushed outward and direct a spin shaft downward to extend below the vehicle.

When the front and rear segments move toward one another, the two side segments are pushed outward directing a central shaft downward below the vehicle. The receiving cavity receives the launch shaft and transfers energy from the power system to the vehicle when it rotates. Energy generated and stored in the power system is transferred to the second configuration via the rotation of the launch shaft when a release button is triggered such that the vehicle separates and spins on the central shaft.

Both are movably secured to a chassis, but the front mechanism moves two front segments positioned within two channels on the chassis and the rear mechanism moves a rear segment with a rear axle pivotally secured to a lower portion of the rear segment. The segments include rotatable wheels. There is also provided a motor and a clutch. The clutch is in communication with the front and rear wheelbase mechanisms. The motor when moved in a first direction engages the clutch to direct the front wheelbase mechanism to raise and lower the front segments. The motor when moved in a second direction engages the clutch to direct the rear wheelbase mechanism to raise and lower the rear segment and rear axle.

The cab further includes a pair of joints that secure arms, which have at the end a wheel. The joint enables the arms to move when the chassis moves. When moving the cab, the vehicle transforms between the first and second positions, where the wheels attached to the arms are able to move with the cab.

    Abstract: In accordance with one embodiment of the present invention a two-wheel vehicle is provided. The vehicle includes a pair of wheel housings, each wheel housing having an inner circumference and an outer circumference, and further having an annular gear rack being positioned on the inner circumference and a wheel secured on the outer circumference. A motor mechanism drives a gear train that is meshed to the annular gear racks. A chassis is connected to a frame and interconnects the pair of wheel housings to the frame such that the frame moves independently from the pair of wheel housings. A tilting mechanism tilts the frame about the chassis such that the vehicle turns in the direction of the tilt. A stabilizing mechanism, when the frame is tilting, counteracts the forces on the vehicle to assist in maintaining an upright position while the vehicle is turning.
