  • Patent number: 10189631
Abstract: A method of dispensing wipes includes providing a stack of wipes. Each wipe is generally rectangular in shape and defines four corners. A dispenser has a dispensing orifice. The method includes grasping a presented corner of a leading wipe, and pulling the presented corner of the leading wipe to withdraw the leading wipe out of the dispenser, whereby the leading wipe releases from a succeeding wipe such that a presented corner of the succeeding wipe, and no other corner of the succeeding wipe, protrudes from the dispensing orifice. In particular embodiments, the presented corner of the leading wipe and the presented corner of the succeeding wipe originate from opposite sides of the stack. In other embodiments, the presented corner of the leading wipe and the presented corner of the succeeding wipe each originate from the same side of the stack.

  • Publication number: 20140374435
Abstract: A refillable dispenser includes a flexible pouch having a top and a bottom spaced apart in a width dimension. The bottom terminates at a bottom edge. The pouch has a front wall, a back wall, and an interior space therebetween. The dispenser includes a dispensing opening formed in the front wall. The dispensing opening has a width that extends in the width dimension, and the dispensing opening defines a midpoint along its width. The dispenser includes a seam that extends generally in a length dimension and that is disposed generally at the pouch top. The seam can be opened to an open position and resealed to a closed position to connect the front wall to the back wall. The seam defines a seam inner edge and a seam outer edge. The midpoint of the dispensing opening is disposed closer to the bottom edge than to the seam inner edge.

  • Patent number: 8844745
Abstract: A lid structure for use with a container for storing personal care products is disclosed. The lid structure includes a lid-activation button that when pressed allows the lid top to rotate about the lid base giving a consumer access to the contents of the container. Additionally, the lid-activation button functions so that the lid top is released independent of where the lid-activation button is pressed by the consumer. To create better and more consistent opening of the lid top portion, an inner longitudinal edge of the lid-activation button may be attached to the lid bottom via a living hinge that is formed integrally with the lid base. A strengthening rib is attached to the living hinge that keeps the main body side of the living hinge immobile and encourages the button side of the living hinge to flex when the lid-activation button is depressed.

  • Patent number: 8398041
Abstract: Generally, a mounting bracket for mounting a mountable object is disclosed. The mounting bracket includes a baseplate has a substantially flat mounting surface and an opposite outward-facing surface. A ledge extends a first distance from the outward-facing surface to support the mountable object. A mounting bracket locking component adapted to frictionally engage a mountable object locks the mountable object in place. Additionally, a stabilizing member extending a second distance from the outward-facing surface contacts the mountable object to help limit movement of the object during use. The mounting bracket may be used with a material dispenser in a wall mountable material dispensing system. The wall mountable material dispensing system may be packaged as a kit wherein the mounting bracket is packaged within the material dispenser.

  • Publication number: 20110024586
Abstract: A material dispensing system for hanging from a support is disclosed. The material dispensing system may contain a hanging member that includes an arm and an extension member slidably mounted on the arm. The arm includes a proximal end and a distal end. The rotatable attachment is a pivot point for the hanging member to rotate under or into the material dispenser. The extension member includes a retaining element to engage a support structure or a spindle of the paper roll holder. The material dispenser may include a base defining a cavity to store the hanging member which is rotatable into the cavity for storage. The hanging member may also have a proximal end rotatably connected to the material dispenser, and a distal end including a retaining element, wherein the retaining element is rotatable through an angle of at least about 90 degrees.

  • Publication number: 20070295744
Abstract: A wet wipes package including an outer carton having an opening. Disposed within the carton is an interior tub having a baffle and an aperture located in the baffle. A rigid flip top is disposed over the carton opening for access to the interior tub and a plurality of wet wipes is disposed within the interior tub beneath the baffle. Because the exterior of the wet wipes package is similar to a facial tissue carton, similar graphical treatments as applied to facial tissue cartons can be used to design an attractive package.
