  • Publication number: 20240263839
Abstract: Systems and methods for gas valve adjustment of a water heater are provided. A controller of the water heater may be provided with logic that is configured to automatically adjust the water heater unit to the necessary conditions (for example, blower fan speed, tank temperature, etc.) for an installer to verify an offset setting of a gas valve. The controller may also cause instructions to be presented on a display of the water heater unit. The instructions may guide the installer through the step-by-step process of adjusting the offset setting of the gas valve while simultaneously maintaining optimal operating conditions of the water heater unit.
