  • Publication number: 20260074245
Abstract: A device for separating liquid water from a recirculation gas stream in a fuel cell system includes an outer cylindrical tank. This tank includes a sidewall with a gas inlet port, a top wall, and a bottom with a water outlet port. The gas inlet port is designed to receive an input stream from the anode side of the fuel cell system. Inside the outer cylindrical tank, an inner protection tube is in fluid communication with the gas outlet port. This inner protection tube allows separated gas to flow to the gas outlet port while preventing liquid water from entering the gas outlet. The inner protection tube has an entry opening for receiving the separated gas flow. The anode knockout device is modified to reduce the formation of water droplets that might be entrained in the recirculation gas steam.

  • Publication number: 20250015327
Abstract: A system includes a fuel cell stack and a controller. The controller is configured to operate the fuel cell stack with a given air stoic ratio while a temperature of the fuel cell stack is greater than a temperature threshold and to operate the fuel cell stack with a lower air stoic ratio, to thereby suppress a stack voltage of the fuel cell stack in order to increase heat generation of the fuel cell stack, while the temperature of the fuel cell stack is lower than the temperature threshold.

  • Patent number: 11967744
Abstract: A fuel cell vehicle includes a bypass valve positioned downstream of a compressor and upstream of a fuel cell stack to selectively direct airflow from the compressor to an exhaust bypassing the fuel cell in an attempt to clear a partially or fully obstructed exhaust pipe. The bypass valve may be opened by a controller when an exhaust throttle valve is at or near a wide-open throttle position. The controller may also increase compressor flow and adjust airflow to the fuel cell stack until compressor pressure, speed, or temperature exceed corresponding limits.

  • Patent number: 11158427
Abstract: According to an embodiment of the present invention, a system analyzes a collection of medical documents to identify within document content risk factors of medical conditions associated with corresponding activities. A processor in the system maps the identified risk factors of the activities to one or more medical tests for the associated medical conditions, and analyzes a medical record and social media communications of a patient to determine participation of the patient in one or more of the corresponding activities. The processor determines the one or more medical tests to conduct from the mapping based on the risk factors associated with the determined activities of the patient. Embodiments of the present invention further include a method and computer program product for analyzing patient activity to conduct appropriate medical tests in substantially the same manner described above.

  • Publication number: 20210281648
Abstract: A geolocation extraction and propagation system for assigning a geolocation to a new user of a website is disclosed herein. An implementation of the geolocation extraction and propagation system assigns a geolocation to a website based on content of various web pages of the website as well as geolocations assigned to various users associated with the website. The geolocation extraction and propagation system further propagates the geolocation of the website to the new user by assigning the geolocation of the website to the new user in response to the new user's click on a web page of the website.
