Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method for extruding high moisture polyhydroxyalkanoates. The method includes a step of mixing at least one polyhydroxyalkanoate in powder form and having an initial moisture content of at least 0.10 weight percent, with at least one resin additive at a temperature from about 120 to about 190° C. to form an extrusion mixture. This mixture is then extruded through an extrusion die to form a resin extrudate comprising the at least one polyhydroxyalkanoate and the at least one resin additive.

Abstract: A contextualized human machine system is provided comprising a context engine and a user interface configured to communicate a recommended data to a user. In some embodiments, the context engine selects the recommended data based on an activity of the user. In some embodiments, the input of the user comprises a chat stream of the user. In some embodiments, the recommended data comprises one of a video product, a hyperlink to information or a suggestion for annotating a product. In some embodiments, the context engine is configured to represent user activity, content, mission and actor as nodes in a multi-layer knowledge graph.

Abstract: Disclosed are systems and methods of communicating an attribute of an artificial intelligence (AI) agent system through an interface. The methods comprise receiving input data, determining attribute values of attributes to the input data over temporal periods, determining interface attribute values representing the interface attributes and communicating the interface attribute values to a dynamic interface. Also disclosed is a contextualized system comprising a contextualizer module and a user interface configured to communicate a recommended data to a user. In some embodiments, the contextualizer module selects a most pertinent data as the recommended data based on an activity of the user.

Abstract: A molded polymer article is disclosed which includes a first structural portion, a second structural portion, and a living hinge connecting the first structural portion and the second structural portion. Both structural portions and the living hinge are all integrally molded from a polymeric composition which includes: (1) from about 20 to about 95 weight percent of polyhydroxyalkanoates, (2) from about 5 to about 75 weight percent of a biodegradable polymer selected from the group consisting of polylactic acid, poly(butylene succinate), poly(butylene-succinate-co-adipate), poly(caprolactone), and poly(butylene adipate-co-terephthalate), (3) from about 0.01 to about 5.0 weight percent of a nucleating agent, and (4) from about 0.01 to about 5.0 weight percent of at least one mold processing aid, such as a mold release agent.
