  • Patent number: 11010997
Abstract: Methods and apparatus to wirelessly interlock doors are disclosed. A door system includes a user interface to receive interlock configuration data input from a user, the interlock configuration data to define an interlock condition to be satisfied before a first door is to undergo an operation, the interlock condition associated with a current state of a second door. The door system includes a first wireless transceiver to receive a signal from a second wireless transceiver associated with a second door. The method includes a door operation controller to at least one of (1) implement the operation of the first door in response to a request when the current state of the second door satisfies the interlock condition, (2) ignore the request, or (3) not execute the operation of the first door in response to the request when the current state of the second door does not satisfy the interlock condition.

  • Patent number: 9631427
Abstract: Door curtains with position sensor switches are disclosed. An example door for selectively blocking and unblocking a passageway includes a frame to be adjacent the passageway. The example door includes a curtain moveable selectively to a closed position and a first open position, where the curtain blocks the passageway in the closed position, and the curtain unblocks the passageway in the first open position. The example door also includes a bracket to be attached to the frame. The bracket is movable selectively to a normal position and a displaced position relative to the frame. The example door further includes a switch to be attached to the bracket and in sensing relationship with the curtain. The curtain supports at least some weight of the bracket when the bracket is in the displaced position. The curtain supports no weight of the bracket when the bracket is in the normal position.

  • Patent number: 9607496
Abstract: Systems and methods to detect and warn proximate entities of interest are described herein. An example hazard warning system for a forktruck includes a controllable light source to project light onto a floor adjacent the forktruck. A hazard discriminator determines when the forktruck poses a hazard to an entity of interest in a vicinity of the forktruck, and responsively generates a hazard output. A controller receives the hazard output and controls the light source such that the light source is in a first state when the hazard output is not received and a second state when the hazard output is received, where the first state is different than the second state.
