Abstract: Disclosed embodiments describe a system and method for improving the effectiveness and efficiency of tracking and managing a canvassing sales force. The method provides a portal to: assign locations and territories; track the travel of sales people; input the disposition of a location; display the disposition (as well as other user identified data) of a location on a user-retrievable map; and edit the disposition and other location specific data for a location by a plurality of users. Team leaders may then assess the effectiveness of sales efforts and make more effective decisions regarding territory assignments (whether team wide or individual) and whether further canvassing is necessary.
