  • Publication number: 20140091926
Abstract: A system and method for reducing medical error is disclosed. In one embodiment, the system comprises a worker device adapted to be worn on a worker, a compliance device, an action device and a base station. The compliance device defines a work zone based on a signal strength received by the worker device from a monitoring signal transmitted from the compliance device. The action device is adapted to be installed to a pump bottle, having a pressure-sensitive mechanism for actuating the action device upon the worker pressing the pump bottle, and an omnidirectional antenna adapted to transmit an action signal to be received by the worker device upon actuation of the action device. The base station is adapted to receive data transmitted from said worker device.
