  • Publication number: 20170273238
Abstract: A vegetation clearing implement features at least one blade arranged for conveyance over an area of land in a forward working direction. Each blade features a respective serrated cutting edge positioned at a leading side of the blade. The serrated cutting edge lies along an oblique axis that resides at an oblique angle to the forward working direction. The serrated cutting edge features alternating crests and troughs situated along the oblique axis, and each trough has a concave curvature between a pair of adjacent crests. A slope of the concave curvature at its leading end is more parallel to the forward working direction than its trailing end. This provides a gradual increase in the aggression of cut as the equipment moves through the vegetative material to provide for smooth, efficient travel of the implement during a vegetation clearing operation.

  • Patent number: 9605407
Abstract: An apparatus features front blade sections fixed to the frame in a V-configuration, and a pull tongue extending over the blade apex to a pivotal connection near a rear of the frame. An actuation mechanism effects relative pivoting between the frame and the pull tongue to adjust an angle between the front blade and the trailer tongue to control a position of the blade apex. Two rear blade sections on opposing sides of the frame are movable between deployed positions extending rearwardly and laterally outward from the front blade sections, and stowed positions elevated out of the deployed positions. The rear blade sections are movable downwardly past a plane in which they align with the front blade sections, thus enabling different working operations.

  • Patent number: 9371627
Abstract: A ditching apparatus features front blade sections fixed to the frame in a V-configuration, and a pull tongue extending over the blade apex to a pivotal connection near a rear of the frame. An actuation mechanism effects relative pivoting between the frame and the pull tongue to adjust an angle between the front blade and the trailer tongue to control a ground-penetration depth of the blade apex. Two rear blade sections on opposing sides of the frame are movable between deployed positions extending rearwardly and laterally outward from the front blade sections, and stowed positions elevated out of the deployed positions. The blade angle and width are thus controllable to achieve a desired depth and width of ditch. A nose cap at the blade apex provides an improved ground breaking action, while internally braced blade structures will roll formed skins provide durability and smooth rolling action of displaced earth.

  • Publication number: 20160019505
Abstract: Techniques for providing potential career paths based on a user's interests and incorporating real-time job market and educational information for that particular career path. A guidance service stores a plurality of jobs and their corresponding job-interest attributes. Then the guidance service obtains user-interest information from the user and automatically selects a plurality of jobs based on the user-interest information and the job-interest attribute values associated with the plurality of jobs. The guidance service then presents the user with the plurality of jobs and job market information and educational information associated with each of the plurality of jobs.

  • Publication number: 20030225620
Abstract: The present invention provides a system where offers are placed on network accessible sites or delivered to consumers over a network. Placement data is used to obtain offers that share at least one category with placements of offers for consumers. Each offer has a placement value for placement. The offers are randomized by forming randomized placement values for the placement. These randomized placement values are calculated by adding a random factor ranging up to at least the value of the highest placement value to each of the offers' placement values. The offer with the highest randomized placement value is then placed for viewing, or receipt, by the consumer.
