  • Patent number: 11330346
Abstract: Viewers of a video stream may generate video clips including different portions of the video stream. Popularity measures may be computed for the video clips, for example based on tracked actions associated with the video clips, such as frequency of playing and sharing of the video clips. The popularity measures may be used to select and provide video clips to viewers. Video items may be generated by streamers, such as may include selected portions of video of streamers playing a game. A video item generated by a particular streamer may be displayed to viewers only during times when that particular streamer is participating in an active game session. Viewers of the video item may provide input that allows viewers to receive a live stream of the streamer's active game session that it is being played simultaneously with the display of the video item.

  • Publication number: 20210146147
Abstract: Systems to confirm authenticity of electrodes and to provide compatibility between a medical device and associated electrodes are described. The systems include an electrode connector that stores an authentication code that is accessible to the medical device when the electrode connector is coupled to the medical device. The medical device uses the authentication code to determine an authenticity of the coupled electrodes. The electrode connector also includes physical features of a housing that allow the electrode connector to couple to different versions (e.g., older and new models) of the type of medical device. This feature allows reverse compatibility of the electrode connector to different versions of medical devices.

  • Patent number: 10968693
Abstract: A multi-piece valance body is configured to extend lengthwise along the front of an adjacent headrail (e.g., of a covering for an architectural opening) between opposed lateral ends. The valance body may include a first valance body portion and a second valance body portion, with the body portions configured to be coupled together via a joint defined between the body portions in the lengthwise direction across the length of the headrail (e.g., a width of the architectural opening) to form the complete valance body structure.

  • Patent number: 10918875
Abstract: An implantable medical device (IMD) with a receiving coil for wireless power transfer. The receiving coil may be disposed about a flux concentrator located in a housing of the IMD. The flux concentrator may concentrate non-radiative near-field energy through the receiving coil. In some cases, the near-field energy may be captured and converted into electrical energy that may be used to recharge a rechargeable power source of the IMD.

  • Publication number: 20190132355
Abstract: Systems and methods for detecting malicious or potenitally malicious script data are provided. Script data is extracted from a data stream at the network level and emulated in a controlled environment. Based upon a comparison of features extracted from emulation of the script to a set of heuristics, malicious script data can be identified for further analysis or processing.

  • Patent number: 10154414
Abstract: A first finite resource allocation request is received at a finite resources allocation server from a first client network node requesting a first amount of a given type of finite resource for use by the first client network node. A first allocated amount of the given type of finite resource is first allocated to the first client network node. The first allocating allocates the first allocated amount at least on the basis of a previously allocated first amount. A second finite resource allocation request is received at the finite resources allocation server from a second client network node requesting a second amount of the given type of finite resource. A second allocated amount of the given type of finite resource is second allocated to the second client network node. The second allocating allocates the second allocated amount at least on the basis of a previously allocated second amount.

  • Patent number: 10057160
Abstract: Measures for use in routing data in a data communications network. A request to route data to a given destination in the network is received. A route to the given destination is first selected from a plurality of routes to the given destination stored in a routing table. Routing the data to the given destination using the first selected route is attempted. In response to receipt of an indication that routing the data to the given destination via the first route failed, a second, different route to the given destination is second selected from the plurality of routes to the given destination stored in the routing table. The second selecting includes omitting, for the purposes of the second selection, at least one route to the given destination from the plurality of routes to the given destination stored in the routing table.

  • Patent number: 9968252
Abstract: An apparatus for diagnosing and/or quantifying the degree of strabismus is disclosed. The apparatus includes a beam that supports at least two targets, a video camera, a light source for generating Purkinje reflexes, and a computer. The patient gazes at the targets while the video camera captures the patient's eyes. The frames of the video are then analyzed as described herein to determine the location of the pupil and the first Purkinje reflex. With this information, strabismus can be diagnosed, as well as the angle of deviation, which is useful for surgically correcting the strabismus. Methods of analyzing the frames are also discussed herein.
