  • Publication number: 20190313974
Abstract: Embodiments provide a sensor insertion tool (SIT) that provides a motive force for insertion of an analyte sensor into/through skin. A SIT may be releasably locked to one or more components of a sensor insertion system, such that components of the sensor insertion system remain securely coupled during sensor insertion. A SIT may include a release member that unlocks or uncouples the SIT and the other components after sensor insertion. In various embodiments, a SIT may be a component of a sensor insertion system configured for assembly by an end user, a health care professional, and/or a caretaker prior to sensor insertion, and may act in cooperation with other sensor insertion system components. Additional components and methods of assembly and use are also provided herein.

  • Publication number: 20190298945
Abstract: A medicament delivery device may include a blister disposed about a blister axis. A dosing chamber may be configured to receive medicament from the blister and the dosing chamber may be disposed about a chamber axis. A transducer may confront the dosing chamber. The transducer may be configured to aerosolize the medicament when the transducer is activated. The chamber axis may be transverse to the blister axis when the blister is in a dosing position.

  • Publication number: 20180339146
Abstract: A connector assembly may include a body and a fluid fitting, the fluid fitting configured for releasably engaging a syringe nozzle, at least one deflectable locking arm connected to the body and radially deflectable relative to the distal end, the proximal end of the at least one deflectable locking arm configured for deflecting in a radial direction relative to the distal end to releasably engage the syringe nozzle, and at least one locking element disposed on the at least one deflectable locking arm, the at least one locking element movable with movement of the at least one deflectable locking arm between a first position where the at least one locking element is released from an engagement portion of the syringe nozzle and a second position where the at least one locking element is engaged with the engagement portion of the syringe nozzle.
