Publication number: 20240230917Abstract: A method of dynamic position determination using a Kalman Filter to estimate a position of a moving aided node, including assigning a predicted value to each of twelve state variables for the aided node, weighting the accuracy of each prediction, determining a measurement for each state variable using a far source navigation algorithm, and then updating each state variable value using the measurement. A method for dynamic position determination that includes locating a moving aided node and one or multiple aiding nodes within a region of interest, and identifying one or multiple visible far sources. The aiding nodes and visible far sources are down selected using a set of metrics for evaluating the suitability of the aiding nodes and far sources, or pairs thereof, for use in developing a position of the aided node using a far source navigation algorithm.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 18, 2024Publication date: July 11, 2024Inventors: Martin C. Alles, John P. Carlson, Abdulwahaab Arif, Sharif Shaher, Zachary Hester, Ryan Riveland

Publication number: 20230077420Abstract: Two receivers located within a region of interest that is sufficiently small as compared to a distance to a source of a signal can be considered a “point”. Signals received at that “point” are planar. Accordingly, any difference in the time of arrival of a signal from the source by one receiver as compared to another receiver located within that region stablishes a locus of points representing a distance between the receivers perpendicular to the vector pointing to the source. Using signals from multiple far sources multiple loci on which one receiver must exist as compared to the other receiver can be identified. The convergence of these loci identifies a relative position of one receiver from the other, and when the geospatial position of one receiver is known, so too is the position of the other receiver.Type: ApplicationFiled: September 13, 2022Publication date: March 16, 2023Applicant: PARSONS CORPORATIONInventors: Martin C. Patent number: 11151566Abstract: A method including receiving an inquiry from a provider to authenticate a provisioning of an account to a mobile wallet. The method also can include determining device ownership information for a mobile device that operates the mobile wallet, account ownership information for the account, device risk information associated with the mobile device, and account risk information associated with the account. The method additionally can include determining an ownership correlation between the device ownership information and the account ownership information. The method further can include generating a fraud risk level by applying business rules and one or more statistical modeling techniques. The method additionally can include providing a response to the provider based on the fraud risk level. Other embodiments are provided.Type: GrantFiled: September 19, 2017Date of Patent: October 19, 2021Assignee: EARLY WARNING SERVICES, LLCInventors: Betty Chan-Bauza, James R. Mortensen, Aaron Bartrim, Eric Woodward, Hal Granoff, Mark Pender, Ryan Riveland

Patent number: 11151567Abstract: A method including receiving a request from a provider to perform a provisioning of an account to a mobile wallet operating on a mobile device. The method also can include sending an inquiry to a risk determination system to authenticate the provisioning of the account to the mobile wallet. The risk determination system can generate a fraud risk level by applying business rules and one or more statistical modeling techniques. The method additionally can include receiving from the risk determination system a response based on the fraud risk level. The method further can include determining whether to proceed with the provisioning of the account to the mobile wallet based at least in part on the response received from the risk determination system. The method additionally can include providing a token to the provider in response to the request to perform the provisioning of the account to the mobile wallet when the fraud risk level is below a predetermined threshold. Other embodiments are provided.Type: GrantFiled: September 19, 2017Date of Patent: October 19, 2021Assignee: EARLY WARNING SERVICES, LLCInventors: Betty Chan-Bauza, James R. Patent number: 11144928Abstract: A method including receiving a request from a mobile wallet operating on a mobile device to perform a provisioning of an account to the mobile wallet. The method also can include generating account information about the account. The method additionally can include generating device information about the mobile device. The method further can include sending an inquiry to a risk determination system to authenticate the provisioning of the account to the mobile wallet. The risk determination system can generate a fraud risk level by applying business rules and one or more statistical modeling techniques. The method additionally can include receiving from the risk determination system a first response based on the fraud risk level. The method further can include determining whether to proceed with the provisioning of the account to the mobile wallet or to perform an additional verification based at least in part on the first response received from the risk determination system.Type: GrantFiled: September 19, 2017Date of Patent: October 12, 2021Assignee: EARLY WARNING SERVICES, LLCInventors: Betty Chan-Bauza, James R.
