  • Patent number: 11650022
Abstract: A mechanism for preventing a partially inserted magazine from accidently ejecting from the firearm. The improved firearms include any type of projectile weapon that employs a magazine to provide ammunition and include rifles and pistols. An improved magazine catch that includes both the primary latch and a safety latch. A method for engaging a magazine to a firearm for providing the firearm with ammunition without unintentionally dropping the magazine due to incomplete insertion.

  • Patent number: 11482117
Abstract: Data associated with a flight, including a flight plan, a vehicle, and/or a pilot is processed via a risk assessment platform to obtain one of more numerical risk values, for example a ground risk value and an air risk value. Based on the processed data, a matrix of risk assessment decisions is generated containing risk related information (such as risk remediation information). Accordingly, based on a consistent set of risk relation information, a predictable and repeatable flight decision (such as a decision whether to fly, or an adjustment to a flight route) can be made. In some instances, the data to be processed is quantitative data collected from one or more third party systems, such as sensor data or geospatial data. The risk assessment platform includes toolkits or services to be used in the processing and transformation of this data to reach a risk assessment decision.

  • Patent number: 11287061
Abstract: The present invention is an underground gas line protective barrier to help prevent damage by common excavation. The core components of the invention include a protective barrier, warning text on the protective barrier, and a locatable wire, which is commonly referred to as a tracer wire, which, generally speaking, are configured as follows: a woven protection barrier with warning text and a locatable wire positioned beside the barrier but attached to the protective barrier. The protective barrier is placed directly on the underground line with the tracer wire to the side of the protective barrier. With respect to the associated method, in order to carry out the method the following core steps are followed: unroll the product directly over the gas line, apply dirt on the product as needed to hold it in place, and continue with normal backfill procedure to cover the device.
