Patent number: 12182223Abstract: Disclosed systems and methods allow a user to input digital content along with identification of one or more social media websites on which the user desires to publish the digital content. The systems and methods then query the identified social media webservers and retrieve a first set of publishing rules. When the digital content satisfies the first set of rules, the systems and methods query a database to retrieve a second set of rules comprising user restrictions specific to the identified social media websites. When the digital content does not satisfy at least one rule within the second set of rules, the systems and methods render a prompt on the user device to receive modified digital content. Subsequently, the systems and methods instruct the one or more social media websites to publish the modified digital content.Type: GrantFiled: September 18, 2023Date of Patent: December 31, 2024Assignee: United Services Automobile Association (USAA)Inventors: Christopher Raley, Ryan Russell

Patent number: 12166789Abstract: Systems, methods, and products are configured for receiving a request from a first electronic device to connect to a first network and determining an electronic communication protocol of the first electronic device. A database can be queried to identify a communication protocol restriction corresponding to the electronic communication protocol of the first electronic device and connecting the first electronic device to a subnetwork. Continuous monitoring of data traffic can be performed to identify data packets transmitted from the first electronic device to a second electronic device can be performed, and, upon identifying at least one data packet transmitted from the first electronic device to the second electronic device, the connection between the first electronic device and the second electronic device can be terminated.Type: GrantFiled: May 13, 2021Date of Patent: December 10, 2024Assignee: United Services Automobile Association (USAA)Inventors: Ryan Russell, Thomas Francis Powers

Patent number: 12041446Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein describe vehicle-based authentication protocols. An illustrative authentication server may receive a request to authenticate a user connected from a mobile device. The authentication server may transmit a request to the mobile device to transmit geolocation data of the mobile device. In response, the mobile device may transmit a stream of its geolocation data. Based upon the received geolocation data stream, the authentication server may determine that the mobile device in a motion and select a vehicle-based authentication protocol to request geolocation data of a trusted vehicle. The authentication server may compare the mobile device geolocation data stream and the vehicle geolocation data stream to determine a similarity score. If the similarity score is above a threshold, the authentications server may authenticate the user. In some cases, the authentication server may authenticate the user if the mobile device is connected to the trusted vehicle.Type: GrantFiled: December 16, 2022Date of Patent: July 16, 2024Assignee: United Services Automobile Association (USAA)Inventors: Ryan Russell, Janelle Dziuk, Gregory Yarbrough, Bryan J.
