Abstract: A device implementing a system for in-application messaging includes a processor configured to, receive, from a server, a message and a rule, the rule specifying a condition to be satisfied prior to displaying the message in association with an application, the condition corresponding to user interaction with respect to the application. The at least one processor is further configured to store the message in local memory, and determine that user activity performed with respect to the application satisfies the condition corresponding to the user interaction. The at least one processor is further configured to, in response to the determining, retrieve the message from the local memory, and display the message in association with the application.

Abstract: Method and arrangements are provided to generate supplemental analysis modules for items of invitational content, the modules including an event dictionary and event handlers. Such modules are configured to collect event information at an end user device associated with the operation of an item of invitational content, determine whether the event information corresponds to an entry in the event dictionary, and, upon determining that the event information corresponds to an entry, identify an event handler corresponding to the entry and routing the event information to the event handler, where the event handler is configured for generating an event message.

In some examples, a file that comprises a plurality of electronic content items can be received. The file may also contain logic for determining which of the content items to display. The logic may be executed to determine a particular item of the content items to display based at least in part on additional data corresponding to a second category of the usage information. In some examples, the user device may prepare the particular content item for display.

The system then determines a most common path of events from the representative group of sessions to yield a most common user journey associated with the presentation of content.
