  • Patent number: 12447014
Abstract: Concepts disclosed relate to multi-frame prosthetic valves including leaflet and anchor frame subcomponents, where the leaflet frame subcomponent does not directly couple with patient anatomy and is separated from the anchor frame subcomponent by a gap/space. An optional connecting sheath may be provided to interconnect the subcomponents and assist with prosthetic valve delivery and deployment. One or more bridging members, or annular groove covers, are provided to bridge and cover gap or space between the anchor frame subcomponent and leaflet frame subcomponent, such as at the inflow and/or outflow ends of the subcomponents. Such bridging/cover features may provide smoother flow profiles, reduce incidence of complications, facilitate perfusion during delivery, assist with device nesting during delivery, assist with relative subcomponent positioning following delivery, or provide any of a variety of additional or alternative functions and advantages.

  • Patent number: 12376959
Abstract: A system can include a prosthetic heart valve having a commissure post configured to receive a first portion of a fiber and a suture support configured to engage with the prosthetic heart valve. The suture support can include a first portion to interface with an inflow side of the prosthetic heart valve and a fiber holding portion to receive a second portion of the fiber. A second portion of the suture support can be coupled to the first portion of the suture guard and be movable inwardly toward the first portion of the suture guard to transform the fiber from a non-tensioned state to a tensioned state. The fiber in the tensioned state can cause the commissure post to bend inward toward a longitudinal axis of the prosthetic heart valve.

  • Publication number: 20240374382
Abstract: A prosthetic implant transitionable between a delivery configuration and a deployed configuration in-situ, the prosthetic implant includes a first frame subcomponent and a second frame subcomponent. The first frame subcomponent and the second frame subcomponent each include a proximal end and a distal end. The second frame subcomponent is coupled to the first frame subcomponent. When situated in the delivery configuration, the first frame subcomponent and the second frame subcomponent are longitudinally offset from one another. When transitioned to the deployed configuration in-situ, the first frame subcomponent is nested within an interior region defined by the second frame subcomponent. The prosthetic implant is configured to capture one or more of the native leaflets of a native valve when the first frame subcomponent and the second frame subcomponent are nested in-situ.

  • Publication number: 20240342642
Abstract: Carbon dioxide sorbent article assemblies and methods of manufacturing the same include: separable sheets of sorbent article disposed adjacent to each other to define a gap between adjacent separable sheets, the gap being maintained uniformly between opposing surfaces of adjacent separable sheets to define a passage extending between adjacent separable sheets from an inlet of the separable sheets to an outlet of the separable sheets; and a support framework supporting the separable sheets to maintain the gap, the support framework having a gap-maintaining component extending from the support framework along at least one separable sheet to maintain an initial position of the separable sheet.
