Publication number: 20240148595Abstract: An improved walker includes an adjustable frame with angled portions that provide an ergonomic interface and enhanced stability for a user. The front of the walker includes a wishbone front support frame. Rather than incorporating multiple front legs extending from the top of the walker to the floor, the wishbone front support frame provides clearance on either side of a center front column. This clearance allows users to position, or maneuver, the walker close to adjacent objects. The handrail portions of the walker are pitched at a downward angle running in a direction from the rear to the front of the walker. This pitch moves the operating position of the user close to the front of walker providing a safe and stable operating position.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 16, 2024Publication date: May 9, 2024Inventors: Robert Beale Van Varick, Donald Samuel Strum, George Benjamin Wintner, Ryan Crist, Gregory P. Allison

Patent number: 11959054Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a substrate apparatus (and methods of manufacturing the same) with one or more substrates having a substrate spacing for growing a cell mass. In particular embodiments, the disclosed substrate apparatus includes a substrate wound into a coiled configuration with an intra-coil spacing between coil layers. To provide the intra-coil spacing, certain implementations use a separator. For example, a separator is applied to a substrate surface, and the separator-substrate combination is wound together (e.g., around a spool). In turn, a locking element is attached to the substrate to maintain the coiled configuration. The separator is then removed via heat treatment, chemical treatment, or physical displacement—thereby leaving the intra-coil spacing between the coil layers. Alternatively, no separator is used to provide a substrate spacing. For example, in lieu of a separator, the locking element is actively applied to the substrate during the winding process.Type: GrantFiled: November 4, 2021Date of Patent: April 16, 2024Assignee: Upside Foods, Inc.Inventors: Ryan Jiajong Liu, Jaewon Samuel Kang

Patent number: 7720897Abstract: An apparatus and method for DFT processing using prime factor algorithm (PFA) on a selected number P of midamble chip values received by a CDMA receiver, where P has a plurality M of relatively prime factors F, and the DFT process is divided into M successive F-point DFT processes. The P data values are retrieved from a single input port memory and selectively permuted by a controller into parallel caches to optimize factoring with associated twiddle factors stored in parallel registers. The permuted inputs are factored in two or more parallel PFA circuits that comprise adders and multipliers arranged to accommodate any size F-point DFT. The outputs of the PFA circuits are processed by consolidation circuitry in preparation for output permutation of the values which are sent to memory for subsequent DFT cycles.Type: GrantFiled: April 7, 2006Date of Patent: May 18, 2010Assignee: InterDigital Technology CorporationInventors: Ryan Samuel Buchert, Sharif M. Patent number: 7693113Abstract: A hermetian of a system response matrix is to be determined. Spreading codes, channel specific multipliers and channel impulse responses are provided. The channel code specific multipliers have real and imaginary values. Channel codes being a combination of a real spreading code, a complex scrambling code and a sign of the channel code specific multiplier. Real and imaginary components of an approximate hermetian of the system response matrix are determined. The channel code specific multipliers are applied to the real and imaginary components of a result of the convolutions to derive the hermetian of the system response matrix.Type: GrantFiled: April 9, 2007Date of Patent: April 6, 2010Assignee: InterDigital Technology CorporationInventors: Chayil S.
