  • Patent number: 10780954
Abstract: A system can include at least one measuring device that captures and collects multiple two-dimensional images of a mooring line disposed in water. The system can also include a mooring line assessment system that includes a controller communicably coupled to the at least one measuring device. The controller can receive the two-dimensional images from the at least one measuring device. The controller can also generate a three-dimensional reconstruction of the mooring line based on the two-dimensional images. The controller can further present the three-dimensional reconstruction to a user. The two-dimensional images can be captured and the recommendation can be made while the mooring line is in situ.

  • Patent number: 10467589
Abstract: Systems and methods for profiled and focused searching of litigation information allow a user to access specific legal information for use during litigation. The user can connect to a web site and access particular information from multiple sources based on the litigation task the user wishes to accomplish One litigation task is to create a litigation profile for a target, such as a particular litigant, attorney, judge, court, or firm. In this way, the user can perform focused and task-based searching to receive information about particular filings in particular locations, made by particular entities without knowing which sources contain certain pieces of the litigation information. For example, the user can receive all documents relating to summary judgment for patent infringement filed by a particular attorney in a particular court without specifying the source of information. In one aspect, the user can also access the source(s) upon receiving the results.

  • Publication number: 20160180036
Abstract: Provided is a method and apparatus for preparing a request for prior authorization of coverage for a prescription drug. After a previous claim requesting at least partial coverage of a cost associated with the prescription drug has been submitted, a notification that prior authorization of the at least partial coverage has been required by the benefits manager is received. After receiving this notification, the method involves automatically conducting a query of a computer-accessible database to retrieve information included in a previously-submitted request for prior authorization. The information retrieved is presented to be confirmed as suitable for submission in the request for prior authorization as part of a current transaction and, in response to receiving confirmation that the information presented is suitable for submission as part of the request for prior authorization during the current transaction, transmitted to at least one of a prescriber for approval and the benefits manager.

  • Patent number: 8078559
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for determining unknown unknowns for at least one assisted decision making system. An assisted decision making system has an associated set of at least one story of interest. The system further comprises a plurality of inferencing algorithms. A given inferencing algorithm is operative to generate story fragments from data stored within an associated knowledge base. A first arbitrator is associated with the first assisted decision making system. The arbitrator accepts a story fragment from the plurality of inferencing algorithms if the story fragment is sufficiently related to a story of interest from the set of at least one story of interest.
