Patent number: 12373770Abstract: A system and method for radiofrequency identification (RFID) driven stocking priority determination. The method includes associating a first plurality of items with a first set of containers, analyzing first item data associated with the first plurality of items associated with the first set of containers and second item data for a second plurality of items associated with a second container, calculating a plurality of priorities for the first set of containers based on the analyzed first item data, the analyzed second item data, and a set of prioritization rules, assigning the plurality of priorities to the first set of containers, and transmitting the plurality of priorities to a user interface device.Type: GrantFiled: March 30, 2022Date of Patent: July 29, 2025Assignee: Walmart Apollo, LLCInventors: Jeffrey S. Cruz, Sara Vaught, Ryan Sands Magnusson

Patent number: 12175422Abstract: Examples provides on-hand inventory accuracy using radio frequency identification (RFID) tag data and expected populations of items for a plurality of sub-locations within a scan area. The system calculates a dynamic expected population of items value for each sub-location using item level data and modular display data for an item assortment assigned to a modular display within each sub-location. If the items detected by the RFID tag data match the expected population of items with a minimum confidence level, the system provides user feedback in the form of status indicators and/or accuracy indicators on a user interface. The feedback can also include audio feedback. If a discrepancy is detected, the system requests a rescan of each sub-location having a detected discrepancy. The system disallows update of on-hand inventory data using the RFID tag data if the discrepancy remains unresolved after the second scan and/or requests a manual verification.Type: GrantFiled: March 30, 2022Date of Patent: December 24, 2024Assignee: Walmart Apollo, LLCInventors: Sara Vaught, Hoang-Anh Au, Christopher Ryan Heeney, Marc Fletter, Jeffrey S. Cruz, Ryan Sands Magnusson

Patent number: 11398158Abstract: System and method for forecasting availability of network services during flight is provided. The system of the disclosed invention utilizes flight plans and coverage data to provide users aboard aircraft with status of satellite Internet services. The system couples the flight plans with the coverage data to provide information regarding how the flight path of the aircraft will affect availability of Internet services during the flight. The method includes retrieving a flight plan to generate a flight path having one or more waypoints, transmitting one or more service coverage data from service providers, coupling the flight path with the service coverage data to determine portions of the flight path in which the network service is unavailable, and delivering to the users information about the service unavailable portions of the flight path.Type: GrantFiled: March 2, 2021Date of Patent: July 26, 2022Assignee: SATCOM DIRECT, INC.Inventors: Jason Halsey, Ryan Sands

Patent number: 9750396Abstract: A portal access device has a first member pivotally movable relative to a base. A groove is provided at the first member to be in alignment with a bore at the base, so that a cannula may freely extend through the bore, with a portion of the cannula being frictionally held along the groove of the first member. The first member may be rotatably connected to a second member, so that once the cannula is correctly inserted into a portal, the first member may be pivoted from its vertical position to its horizontal position to bend the cannula into a right angle cannula. The cannula is removed from the portal by pivoting the second member upwardly away from the base. In an alternate portal access device where there is only one arm member, the portal access device may be removed from the portal by being pulled vertically upwards.Type: GrantFiled: January 19, 2012Date of Patent: September 5, 2017Assignee: Smiths Medical ASD, Inc.Inventors: Christopher Andrew Larson, Daniel James Meydell, Michael Ryan Sande, Mark Wellington Darst Rice, Louis Woo
