Abstract: A disposable dual ended ear curette incorporates specialized tip configurations and a depth measurement system. The ear curette may comprise a central handle portion; a first tip extending from one end of the handle portion and including an annular array of projections; and a second tip extending from an opposed end of the handle portion and including a blade member having a first lateral scraping edge on one edge of the blade member positioned adjacent a concave surface of the blade member, and a second lateral scraping edge on an opposed edge of the blade member. The ear curette may further include a sequence of spaced, visible measurement indicia on each tip, configured to provide an operator with a visual indication of the depth of operation of the associated tip in a patient's ear.

Abstract: A light weight, molded foot wear carrier consists of a body forming two open cavities with a dividing wall between the cavities. Each body formed cavity is open on a top end there of for easy footwear insertion. The carrier has straps, which may be adjustable, to hold the footwear in a secure position inside the carrier, with one strap extending across each opening for each cavity. The footwear is held upright for ease of insertion and removal. The straps may be formed as elastomeric straps that may be adjustable to hold footwear of various geometries.

Abstract: A knife includes a knife blade defining a knife plane having a cutting edge on one side and a spine an opposed side, wherein the cutting edge and the spine meet at a point of the knife blade at a distal end thereof, the knife blade including a bolster at an end of the knife blade opposed from the point and a tang adjacent the bolster, and a handle attached to the tang of the knife blade, the handle includes a body portion, the handle includes a spine support extending along a portion of the spine of the knife blade and coupled to the knife blade at a position spaced from the point, and wherein the spine support is spaced from the spine for at least a portion of the spine. A resilient buffer member may be provided between the knife blade and the handle.
