The created novel composite multilayered fabric may have increased loft, softness and bending length, may not be solely dependent upon an electrostatic charge to repel small particles and microbes, and may be formed from a broad selection of natural, synthetic, and recycled polymers, including petroleum- and plant-based, allowing polymer selection based on article lifecycle.

    Abstract: An endoscope assembly system includes a housing and an adapter that couples to the housing. The adapter has a bore that receives an endoscope tube therethrough. The adapter has a cannula connector on an outer surface of the adapter that allows it to couple with a cannula positioned over at least a portion of the adapter. Different adapters can be coupled to the housing to allow the endoscope to be used with a variety of different cannulas having different cannula locking mechanisms, thereby allowing one endoscope assembly to be used with a variety of different cannula designs.
