  • Patent number: 12301301
Abstract: A system, method and computer application to log signal egress (leakage signal) readings from a test instrument during a “walkout” mode where the technician and test instrument have left a vehicle and troubleshooting is being performed on foot. A unique troubleshooting and discovery dataset is created and capable of revealing problems not previously discoverable using vehicle mounted test instruments. In addition, the dataset may be used for quality control and other purposes such as e.g., providing a report or mapping of the path the technician used during the troubleshooting process. Augmented reality features may also be displayed on the technician's mobile device to facilitate finding the source of one or more leaks.

  • Patent number: 10522118
Abstract: Methods and systems for stringing an instrument are disclosed, including coupling a string to a bridge; threading the string through a tuning member; providing a device comprising: a body having a proximal and distal end; and slots into the body located between the proximal end and the distal end; wherein distances between the proximal end and the slots correspond to predetermined string lengths beyond tuning members of the instrument; and wherein each of the slots comprises a marking edge; positioning the proximal end against the tuning member; inserting string threaded through the tuning member into one of the slots; pulling the string toward the bridge to mark the string; removing the device from the tuning member; pulling the string back through the tuning member towards the bridge until the mark is proximate the tuning member; and winding the string around the tuning member. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

  • Publication number: 20040023836
Abstract: Polymers which are capable of self-cross-linking and/or of reacting with cellulose can be used in the treatment of fabric comprising cellulosic fibres to enhance the feeling of comfort when a garment comprising the fabric is worn. The enhanced feeling of comfort is due, at least in part, to an increase in the rate of moisture transport through the fabric. The polymers may be used in conjunction with a liquid or soft solid derivative of a cyclic polyol or of a reduced saccharide resulting from 35 to 100% of the hydroxyl groups in the polyol or the saccharide being esterified or etherified.
