  • Publication number: 20250114171
Abstract: A hybrid abutment for restorative dental systems includes a restoration interface with an overdenture portion and a restoration portion that are each operable to couple to a plurality of restorative abutment components along a restorative axis, a receiver interface with at least one region operable to couple to a corresponding region on a receiver along an installation axis, and a restorative platform separating the restoration interface and the receiver interface. The restorative abutment component can include an overdenture or a restorative component with an optional resilient insert. The overdenture and the restorative component are interchangeable without switching either the hybrid abutment or the receiver. The hybrid abutment includes a main body with a single-build or multi-piece build or configuration. Where the receiver is an implant, at least a portion of the hybrid abutment and the implant can be formed as a monolithic component.

  • Patent number: 12257127
Abstract: A dental implant system that can include a prosthetic assembly and a dental implant. The prosthetic assembly can include a dental component and a retention screw. The dental component and the retention screw each have interference elements that are configured to engage when a removal torque is applied to the screw. When the interference element engage each other, a portion of the removal torque is converted into a linear force that is exerted on the dental component in a removal direction thereby separating the dental component from the dental implant.
