Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a bandsaw. The bandsaw may be cordless bandsaw utilizing a battery pack to provide power to an electric motor. The electric motor may drive an transmission. The transmission may be mechanically coupled to a drive wheel. The drive wheel, in conjunction with a driven wheel turn a blade for a cutting operation. The bandsaw may include a base for housing the drive and driven wheels. The base may also include an integrated transmission housing for housing the transmission.
