    Abstract: A signal transmission medium for transmitting EHF band signals from a first point to a second point, including: a first end at which a signal exchange with the first point takes place; a second end at which a signal exchange with the second point takes place; and a transmission line portion which is flexible and connects the first end and the second end. The transmission line portion includes: strip conductors which are formed substantially down a center of a flexible printed circuit board to establish electrical connection between a signal line at the first end and a signal line at the second end; and a pair of grounding sheets which are arranged in parallel to each other at a substantially constant gap from the flexible printed circuit board in 180-degree opposite directions. The cavities are formed between the pair of grounding sheets and the strip conductors.

A first terminal 51 of the 3 dB coupler 5 is supplied with an output signal from a high frequency oscillator 2 while a second terminal 52 of the 3 dB coupler 5 is connected to a transmitting and receiving antenna 4. Third and fourth terminals 53 and 54 of the 3 dB coupler 5 are connected to two-state devices 6, 7, respectively, which are in impedance mismatched only for a predetermined period of time to totally reflect the signal from the 3 dB coupler 5 and are in impedance matched during the time period other than the predetermined time to direct a signal from the 3 dB coupler 5 to a subsequent electronic circuit.

    Abstract: A plurality of probes such as a signal probe (3) and a power supply probe (4) are provided into a metal block (1) so as to penetrate. Each of the probes has a movable pin (11). A tip of the movable pin is projecting from one surface of the metal block (1). And a projection length of the tip is variable. A DUT 20 is pressed onto the surface of the metal block (1) to contact between electrode terminals (21 to 24) and tips of the probes to test characteristics of the DUT. At least one of the probes is capacity loaded probe having a capacitor by providing a dielectric layer and a metal film to peripheral of the probe. As a result, noise can be removed reliably. Additionally, when the capacity loaded probe is used as the power supply probe, a voltage drop is reduced at the power supply terminal in a case of change of the output.
