  • Patent number: 6590565
Abstract: A keyboard unit comprises a keyboard base and a number of key-tops. A switch in the form of a sheet is interposed between the keyboard base and the key-tops. The switch has a number of movable contacts arranged corresponding to the key-tops, and a number of stationary contacts opposed to the respective movable contacts. The key-tops are supported above the keyboard base by respective key-top support mechanisms such that they can move vertically. Each of the key-top support mechanisms includes first and second link levers pivotably connected to each other. The first link lever is made of a metal and has an elastically deformable pressing section that is formed integral therewith as one body. A number of elastically deformable load receiving sections are interposed between the respective pressing sections and the respective movable contacts.

  • Patent number: 5544009
Abstract: An electronic apparatus comprising a housing, having a side surface in which an inlet is formed. A card storage section is provided in such a manner as to be continuous with the inlet. The card storage section is intended to allow a card-like electronic part to be accessibly inserted there into through the inlet and has a card connector to which the card-like electronic part is detachably connectable. An ejector is arranged within the housing, and intended to eject the card-like electronic part to the outside of the housing through the inlet. Further, the ejector has a slider for pushing the card-like electronic part in a direction where the card-like electronic part is separated from the card connector. The slider is supported by the housing such that it can be slid between a first position where the card-like electronic part has been pushed out though the inlet and a second position where the slider is separate from the card-like electronic part.

  • Patent number: 5316491
Abstract: A personal computer includes a box-shaped body having a card storing section for storing a memory card. An operating opening portion is formed by cutting an edge of the body to a given size and externally accessible by a finger, and the storing section communicates with the opening portion through an inlet opening. An ejector mechanism for ejecting the card from the card storing section includes a card receiver arranged in the storing section for receiving the card inserted through the inlet opening. A drawer member is mounted on the card receiver and has an operating end portion. The operating end portion is located within the operating opening portion when the drawer member is moved to its pushed-in position while the card receiver is in its first position and outwardly projects through the operating opening portion when the drawer member is moved to its drawn-out position while the card receiver is in its first position.
