Patent number: 11744469Abstract: In order to enable the measurement of thermal property information about a subject, this thermal diffusion coefficient measuring device, which is used by contacting the surface of a living body, is provided with: a biological information sensor comprising a temperature sensor and a heat flux sensor; and a heating/cooling control means. The temperature sensor is provided at a position contacting the surface of the living body, and operates so as to detect skin temperature. The heat flux sensor is provided at a position contacting the surface of the living body, while being adjacent to the temperature sensor, and operates so as to detect heat flux on the surface of the living body. The heating/cooling control means enables the measurement of the temperature diffusion coefficient of a thermal resistance component that is present between the biological information sensor and a deep inner portion of the living body.Type: GrantFiled: March 20, 2018Date of Patent: September 5, 2023Assignees: NEC CORPORATION, TOHOKU UNIVERSITYInventors: Masahiko Ishida, Ryo Iguchi, Yuki Shiomi, Eiji Saitoh, Ryohto Sawada, Akihiro Kirihara, Koichi Terashima, Yasuyuki Oikawa

Patent number: 10407283Abstract: An apparatus for moving a counterweight includes an attachment fixed to a frame of a machine, a supporting member that includes a supporting face for placing a counterweight thereon when the counterweight is mounted on the machine, and a link mechanism that moves the counterweight. The link mechanism includes an arm and a rotating cylinder that rotates the arm. One end of the arm is pivotally supported by the attachment while the other end of the arm is pivotally supported by the upper inner portion of a recess of the counterweight. One end of the rotating cylinder is pivotally supported by the upper inner portion of the recess of the counterweight. The supporting face is shaped so as to coincide with the arc locus drawn by a contact face arranged on the side of the counterweight, as the counterweight moves. The contact face comes into contact with the supporting face when the counterweight is mounted on the machine.Type: GrantFiled: March 2, 2016Date of Patent: September 10, 2019Assignee: Caterpillar SARLInventors: Kenichi Mori, Ryo Iguchi, Hirokazu Hashimoto

Patent number: 10189684Abstract: A counterweight attachment and removal device which can connect lifting assemblies and a counterweight without precisely adjusting the construction machine position and the counterweight position, and which can attach the counterweight to adjust lateral direction. The device (18) includes a link (28) which is connected pivotally to the rear end of the construction machine, and a pair of coupling units (32, 32) which are connected to the leading end of the link (28). Each coupling unit (32) has a pair of coupling pieces (38, 40), a connecting pin (42) and a position adjustment member (44, 45). The coupling pieces (38, 40) extend from the link (28) and are able to tilt and move pivotally around the central axis (O). The connecting pin (42) is detachably connected to the extension ends between the connecting pieces (38, 40). Each adjustment member (44, 45) is disposed on the inner surface of the connecting piece (38, 40).Type: GrantFiled: August 26, 2015Date of Patent: January 29, 2019Assignee: Caterpillar SARLInventors: Ryo Iguchi, Kenichi Mori, Hirokazu Hashimoto

Patent number: 10161104Abstract: To set time difference to the starting time of excavation and scooping by setting the starting of the scooping with a bucket behind the starting of the excavation with a ripper in an excavation machine where the bucket and the ripper are equipped to an arm, and are manipulated to open and close with each other by expansion and contraction of a hydraulic cylinder. During the first half of the contracting process at a hydraulic cylinder, a pin mounted on a connecting link where a bucket and a ripper are connected moves through a slot formed on the bucket to make bucket delay in closing, and the bucket and the ripper close at the same time during the latter half of the contracting process.Type: GrantFiled: December 17, 2015Date of Patent: December 25, 2018Assignee: Caterpillar SARLInventors: Hiroaki Andou, Ryo Iguchi, Hidetaka Ishizuka, Teruyuki Yamada
