  • Patent number: 11448810
Abstract: A display device for displaying images conveying depth information comprises a first display unit for representing first image information on a first screen. The first display unit comprises the first screen with a holographic optical element, HOE, provided thereon, and a first light source for providing light for illuminating the first screen. The display device further comprises a second display unit for representing second image information. The second display unit comprises a second light source for providing light with a plurality of predetermined discrete wavelengths for creating the second image information, and a second screen which is provided in parallel or oriented at an acute angle relative to the first screen in order to project the second image information onto the first screen and thereby generate a virtual image corresponding to the second image information behind the first screen.

  • Patent number: 10644334
Abstract: An MG-ECU obtains a rotational speed Na of an ACP. The MG-ECU transmits the obtained rotational speed (a PM reception rotational speed) Na of the ACP to a PM-ECU through communication. The PM-ECU obtains a rotational speed predicted value Np by adding a rotational speed change width Cvw to the PM reception rotational speed Na received from the delayed MG-ECU. A limit torque Tr12 is obtained through the use of the obtained rotational speed predicted value Np and an ACP permissible power level line L1.

  • Publication number: 20190369392
Abstract: The present invention relates to a picture generation unit for a head-up display. The picture generation unit comprises an array of light-sources for emitting beams of light, the light sources being arranged in a matrix of Ly rows and Lx columns; an array of collimation lenses for receiving said emitted beams of light, the collimation lenses being arranged in a matrix of Ly rows and Lx columns; a micro lens array for receiving light from the collimation lenses and providing a focused light output, the micro lens array arranged in a matrix of Fy rows and Fx columns, wherein Fx>2·Lx and Fy>2·Ly; a field lens array for receiving said light from the micro lens array and providing a collimated light output, the field lens array arranged in a matrix of Lx rows and Ly columns; and an image generation unit for receiving said collimated light output.

  • Patent number: 10365483
Abstract: Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and devices for implementing a heads-up display (HUD) that is viewable in conditions where a viewer is wearing a p-polarized eyewear, eyewear polarized between s-polarized and p-polarized, or not. Thus, employing the aspects disclosed herein, a viewer may realize all the benefits of a HUD implementation (for example, one implemented via a vehicle), while realizing all the benefits of wearing polarized eyewear.
