  • Patent number: 11736639
Abstract: A sheet conveying device includes a sheet placement table, a sheet discharge table, a conveyance mechanism, raising/lowering mechanism, and a raising/lowering control portion. The sheet discharge table is located below the sheet placement table. The conveyance mechanism conveys a sheet placed on the sheet placement table onto the sheet discharge table via an execution position at which image processing is executed by an image processing portion. The raising/lowering mechanism raises and lowers the sheet placement table. The raising/lowering control portion controls the raising/lowering mechanism to raise and lower the sheet placement table to a target position that is determined in accordance with a size of the sheet on the sheet discharge table.

  • Publication number: 20230262183
Abstract: A sheet detecting apparatus includes: a light emitting unit that emits light emitted toward a detection position; a light receiving unit that is provided to receive the light reflected by a sheet present at the detection position and that outputs an electric signal which corresponds to a received light amount; and an adjustment processing unit that adjusts, within a specified range, a duty ratio of a drive pulse signal used to drive the light emitting unit, so that a detection value of the electric signal output from the light receiving unit is included in a specified standard range; and a decision processing unit that decides the specified range based on a change range which is among a variable range of the duty ratio of the drive pulse signal and in which the detection value of the electric signal changes in response to a change in the duty ratio.

  • Patent number: 9367004
Abstract: An abnormality detection device for an image forming apparatus detects an abnormality in the image forming apparatus which includes a heating belt looped around a heating roller and a fixing roller. The abnormality detection device for an image forming apparatus includes: thermistors for detecting temperatures of one widthwise end portion and the other widthwise end portion of the heating belt; a temperature difference detection section for determining whether or not a temperature difference between the temperature of the one end portion and the temperature of the other end portion which are detected by the thermistors is greater than a predetermined value; and a judgment section for judging that an abnormality has occurred in the image forming apparatus when it is determined in the temperature difference detection section that the temperature difference is greater than the predetermined value.

  • Patent number: 9154652
Abstract: A display input device according to one aspect of the present disclosure includes display portion, piezoelectric element, drive portion, and detection portion. The display portion includes touch panel that detects touched position on display surface. The piezoelectric element is provided on touch panel and vibrates touch panel. In response to touch panel being touched, drive portion applies a voltage to piezoelectric element to vibrate piezoelectric element. The detection portion detects the voltage value of a voltage generated in piezoelectric element by a pressure being applied to piezoelectric element when touch panel is touched. The smaller the voltage value detected by detection portion is, the larger the voltage applied to piezoelectric element by drive portion for vibrating piezoelectric element is. The larger the voltage value detected by detection portion is, the smaller the voltage applied to piezoelectric element by drive portion for vibrating piezoelectric element is.
