  • Publication number: 20120205179
Abstract: A vehicle body frame of a motorcycle includes a head pipe, a pair of main frame sections extending rearwardly from the head pipe, a pair of pivot plates joined to end portions of the main frame sections, and a crossmember arranged between the pivot plates. In such vehicle body frame, the crossmember is arranged between upper end portions of the pivot plates such that the upper end portions of the pivot plates are sandwiched between the crossmember and rear end portions of main frame sections so that at least a portion of the crossmember overlaps a joint portion between the main frame sections and the pivot plates as viewed in a side view. Such structure of the vehicle body frame ensures the rigidity of connecting portions where the crossmember is connected to pivot plates without making the vehicle body frame heavy and thick.

  • Publication number: 20110037691
Abstract: Provided is a three-dimensional object display control system that enables a three-dimensional object displayed on a screen to be freely rotated by means of instinctive operation. A computer system (10) includes, e.g., a computer (12), a display (14), and a rotation information input device (20). The rotation information input device (20) includes a sphere (22), a tripod (24) that rotatably supports the sphere (22), and a camera (26) that takes an image of the sphere (22). The computer (12) selects two feature points from the image of the sphere (22) taken by the camera (26), and sets two-dimensional coordinates in the image of the feature points. While tracking the feature points, the computer (12) samples the two-dimensional coordinates and transforms them into three-dimensional coordinates on a surface of the sphere (22).

  • Patent number: 6715540
Abstract: The air heating capability of an indoor heat exchanger is limited to set the temperature of the indoor heat exchanger to a first predetermined temperature Tel or lower during heating. Thereby, fogging is prevented through re-evaporation of the condensed water in the indoor heat exchanger during heating within an air-conditioning apparatus with a hot water heater core using hot water as the heat source and the heating circuit.

  • Patent number: 6484523
Abstract: In a vehicle air conditioner having a refrigerant cycle using carbon dioxide as refrigerant, a displacement of a compressor is changed and controlled, so that an air temperature immediately after passing through an evaporator becomes approximately 0° C., and it can prevent a refrigerant amount discharged from the compressor from being larger than a predetermined flow amount. Because the refrigerant amount discharged from the compressor is controlled to be not larger than the predetermined flow amount, it can prevent a high-pressure side refrigerant pressure and a high-pressure side refrigerant temperature from being excessively increased in the refrigerant cycle.

  • Patent number: 6256091
Abstract: When mounting crystal blanks, crystal blanks can be mounted readily in a desired position on a mounting platform, and during pick-up, they can be readily detached from the mounting platform. To inspect scratches in a crystal blank 1, diffused oblique light is shined onto the crystal blank 1 from below by light-emitting diodes 6, and light reflected by scratches on the crystal blank 1 is detected by image capturing means 11 directly above the crystal blank 1. The crystal blank 1 is conveyed to the mounting platform 2 by a conveyor robot arm 15, and after inspection, it is conveyed away by same. A plurality of grooves are formed in the mounting surface 3 of the mounting platform 2. Thereby, during mounting, the crystal blank 1 does not slide over the mounting platform 2 and after mounting, it does not adhere tightly to the mounting platform 2.

  • Patent number: 6091598
Abstract: A partial blank of internal electrode is previously provided on the area of a green sheet on which an internal electrode is formed and at which it is to be cut adjacent to a main part of the internal electrode constituting the capacitance of a capacitor. The propriety of a cutting position is judged by examining if a non-exposed portion corresponding to the partial blank of the internal electrode exists on the edge face of the laminated product obtained by cutting the laminated board. In addition, two leading portions are formed at the leading side of the internal electrode, and the end of the two leading portions is exposed at the edge face of the laminated product. In this arrangement, a non-exposed portion of the internal electrode is formed between the two leading portions.

  • Patent number: 5935365
Abstract: An unbaked ceramic layer is formed by applying a ceramic paste on to an organic flexible supporting body. First target marks are formed on the flexible supporting body before or after this process. Then, the positioning for printing electrodes is performed based upon information obtained through image processing of the first target marks, to print the electrodes on the unbaked ceramic layer. With this, a manufacturing method for ceramic electronic components that can minimize positional misalignment in electrode patterns is provided.
