  • Patent number: 11703021
Abstract: In a fuel injection device, a driving unit structure has a magnetic aperture, in which an inner diameter is gradually enlarged toward the mover side, provided in an inner peripheral surface of the magnetic core. It is possible to reduce magnetic delay time upon valve opening from the supply of the electric current to the coil to the rise of magnetic flux and magnetic delay time upon valve closing from the stoppage of the electric current to the coil to reduction of magnetic flux, by providing a magnetic aperture in the inner peripheral surface of the magnetic core. Thus it is possible to improve the dynamic responsiveness upon valve opening and valve closing.

  • Patent number: 11300070
Abstract: An electromagnetic valve control unit for detecting operation of an electromagnetic valve on the basis of a drive voltage or a drive current applied to the electromagnetic valve. The electromagnetic valve control unit includes an A/D converter, a filter, and a detection unit. The A/D converter converts the drive voltage or the drive current into a digital signal. The filter has a gain of about zero at a predetermined frequency. The detection unit detects operation of the electromagnetic valve on the basis of an output of the filter upon input of the digital signal into the filter.

  • Publication number: 20210388790
Abstract: A shot variation in injection quantity of a fuel injection device is reduced. A control device according to an aspect of the present invention performs a first current control for a solenoid by a first current waveform by applying a reverse voltage to the solenoid before a mover or a valve collides with a fixed portion, when an injection quantity of a fuel from opening to closing of the valve of the fuel injection device is a set value or more. In addition, the control device performs a second current control for the solenoid by a second current waveform so that a current larger than a holding current holding the mover or the valve in a state of being in contact with the fixed portion flows to the solenoid, until the mover or the valve collides with the fixed portion, when the injection quantity of the fuel from opening to closing of the valve is less than the set value.

  • Patent number: 11098670
Abstract: Provided is a control device of a fuel injection device which can stabilize a behavior of a valve even when a voltage of a voltage source varies, and can reduce a deviation of an injection amount. A control device 150 of a fuel injection device 101 includes a valve 214, a coil 205 which generates a magnetic attraction force to attract a movable member 202 which drives the valve 214, and a voltage source. The fuel injection device 101 applies a voltage to the coil 205 on the basis of an injection pulse, causes a drive current to flow to the coil 205 until the current becomes a maximum current to attract the movable member 202, and drives the valve 214 to inject fuel. The drive current flowing to the coil 205 or a voltage of the voltage source is detected before the injection pulse is stopped. In a case where the detected drive current or the voltage is equal to or less than a setting, a width of the injection pulse or an injection pulse different from the injection pulse is corrected to be long.

  • Publication number: 20210140388
Abstract: Combustion stability can be improved while HC and PN discharged from a combustion chamber are prevented. In an ECU that controls a fuel injection device installed in a combustion chamber of an internal-combustion engine so as to be able to inject fuel in a direction intersecting with a sliding direction of a piston, a pressure value of the fuel supplied to the fuel injection device is acquired, control is performed such that the fuel injection device injects the fuel at least twice in a compression stroke, and control is performed such that fuel injection timing of at least one time in the compression stroke is advanced earlier than fuel injection timing of a time corresponding to the high pressure value of the fuel when the acquired fuel pressure value is low.

  • Patent number: 10900435
Abstract: In a drive unit of a fuel injection device, an electric current is supplied to the fuel injection device by applying a high voltage to the fuel injection device from a high voltage source whose voltage is boosted to a voltage higher than a battery voltage at the time of opening a valve of the fuel injection device. Thereafter, the electric current supplied to the fuel injection device is lowered to a current value at which a valve element cannot be held in a valve open state by stopping the applying of the high voltage from the high voltage source. Thereafter, in a stage where a supply current is switched to a hold current, another high voltage is applied to the fuel injection device from the high voltage source.

  • Patent number: 10823104
Abstract: The purpose of the present invention is to detect variations between the quantities of fuel injected into cylinders by fuel injection devices and correct the fuel injection quantity variation while minimizing the computational load on a drive device and the level of performance required of a pressure sensor. A drive device for fuel injection devices according to the present invention performs control wherein movable valves are driven so that predetermined quantities of fuel are injected by applying, for the duration of a set energization time, a current that will reach an energization current to solenoids of a plurality of fuel injection devices which open/close fuel flow paths. The drive device is characterized in that the set energization time or energization current is corrected on the basis of a pressure detection value from a pressure sensor that is attached to a fuel supply pipe disposed upstream of the plurality of fuel injection devices.
