The first layer may include a nonwoven web material bearing a pattern of thermal bonds, including a plurality of bonds each having a length and a width, the length being oriented perpendicularly to the stretch direction and being greater than the width, for a majority of the bonds. The elastic member(s) may be joined with the first layer and the second layer while pre-strained in the stretch direction; when the stretch laminate is in a relaxed condition, at least the first layer may include a plurality of gathers comprising elongate ridges and valleys oriented transversely to the stretch direction. A disposable absorbent pant having an elasticized belt structure including the stretch laminate, is also disclosed.

Some embodiments include creating a computational simulation of biomechanical interactions between feminine product and a pelvic region for a predetermined body type and simulating dynamic contraction of pelvic floor muscles and movement of surrounding parts of the pelvic region as would be experienced in normal use of the feminine product. Similarly, some embodiments are configured to determine, from the simulation, positional changes and effectiveness of the feminine product, determine whether the feminine product is acceptable, and in response to determining that the feminine product is not acceptable, alter a feature of the feminine product. In some embodiments, in response to determining that the feminine product is acceptable, data related to the feminine product being acceptable may be output.

Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein are configured for identifying a condition of pelvic floor muscles. In one embodiment, a kit is provided that includes a wetness detection device with a backsheet, where the backsheet is substantially impervious to liquid. The wetness detection device may additionally include an insert that is coupled to the backsheet via a securing mechanism, where the insert is constructed with a predetermined absorbency. The wetness detection device may include an indicator that is coupled to the insert that reacts when in contact with liquid, such that because of the predetermined absorbency of the insert. The indicator may identify progress on pelvic floor muscles of a wearer of the wetness detection device. Additionally, the kit may include instructions for exercising the pelvic floor muscles to perform while wearing the wetness detection device, where the instructions describe application of the wetness detection device.
