A joint member consists of stainless steel, wherein a coat of copper or copper alloy by a metallic bond is formed on an inner circumferential surface or an outer circumferential surface in an end portion on at least one side in a longitudinal direction. Accordingly, even in the case in which the joint member itself consists of stainless steel, it is easy to connect with the connection target via the end portion on which the coat of copper or copper alloy is formed.
